Sup guys let's get this party started!!!!!!!

I kept looking around for Jake and he was pretty easy to find considering all I could see were unfamiliar faces. I spotted him talking to a fine looking man which I presumed was his boss as they were already walking towards me

Oh Lexi get yourself together you are finally gonna meet the almighty Luca Diaz yes guys I know his name since Jake won't stop talking about him it's kinda hard to figure out if Jake likes him or actually hates him

"Boss this is my fiancée Alexi Ramirez she is a big fan of your work at the Diaz enterprises" I heard Jake say which was my cue to snap outta my own world

I looked up at them ready to shake hands but his eyes were fixated on my face

Damn I know I'm pretty but am I really that pretty

"I'm sorry for making you feel uncomfortable Lexi, Lexi can I call you Lexi"

"Oh shit did I say that out loud"  I chuckled

Lexi? Mhmm interesting already has a Nick name for me

"Yes Mr Diaz you can most certainly call me Lexi if you want to"

"Oh please just Luca"

"Okay Luca" I blushed

"Alright I've got to go speak to others but I will most certainly see you again" Luca said while kissing my hands before he left

I watched him as he disappeared into the crowd

"Well that went well"

I looked over to Jake who seems to be scanning the room

Well that isn't odd at all

He walked away leaving me all by myself at the event

I looked around grabbed a couple drinks caught Luca staring at me couple of times and then finally Jake came over to me and I knew it was time to go home

Silence filled the air in the car but it wasn't one of those awkward silence this silence was comfortable but then again someone has to break it

"I got a nice deal and got a lot of money soo I was thinking we could leave Italy and start a new life at LA"

All the blood drained out of me
He was asking me to leave my life my family my friends my dream job

"What Hell no!! There is no way in hell that I'm gonna abandon my life and family and move to a whole other continent"

I couldn't I just couldn't  I loved him but I just couldn't give my whole life up for him it was impossible

"Just think about it"

There was nothing to think about I couldn't abandon my life for him I just couldn't not in a billion years I dedicated my whole life to become a jewellery designer at Tiffany and co and I finally got my dream job literally a week ago and now he's saying to abandon everything

Poww!!!!!!

I heard a really loud gun shot knocking me from all my thoughts

Silence....

I looked over to Jake

Blood spilling everywhere I quickly stopped the car and rushed out to his side

"Jake!!!!"
I kept crying out his name like he was gonna wake up
Lost in my thoughts and tears I felt someone touch me

I opened my eye to see Jake caressing my face barely able to keep his eyes open

"Baby I'm not who you think I am I'm not worth your tears"

What!!!
What does he mean by that he's probably just saying things due to the shot while lost in thoughts I realised it's now awfully quiet

I looked down at him he was lying peacefully with his eyes closed
No!!!!
I got up from the floor

"I'm gonna make whoever did this to you pay I promise even if it costs me my life"

I look up to the sky and then notice someone standing by the bridge looking down at me but I just couldn't tell who it was but whoever it is he is definitely the murderer.....

Aahhhhh.....!!!! I'm literally screaming
This is soo fucking good
