By the time lunch rolled around, Tanjiro had a massive migraine. He didn't know if he'd be able to handle being at his group's table. "Hey, Tanjiro, are you alright?" Kanao asked, leaning slightly to look at him.The boy sighed, "Yeah... Hey, I'm gonna go sit outside to eat today, sorry, I just think istting in the canteen will overwhelm me haha..." He smiled softly, running off to the doors leading outside when given the okay by his friends.
Tanjiro walked to a tree, far from the entrance to the school, deep in the shade. he sat against the tree quietly, setting his bento to the side and sighing. he took a breath of the air around him, everything smelled calm. There was the hint of wet grass from a previous rain shower, along with a scent of cherry blossom and mint.
He looked around the area, the trees around were cherry blossom trees, so he knew where that smell came from. But the mint? He sniffed the air again, looking up. Suddenly there was a face in-front of him. An...upside down face? "Eh-?"
The more he looked, Tanjiro realized he knew this face. Inosuke. "Oh uhm...Hello, Inosuke." He said, leaning his head against the tree. Inosuke stared, leaning closer as his hair blew in the wind.
"Hey. Stupid." Inosuke spat. Tanjiro deadpanned, giving a blank look and tilting his head to the side in confusion. "You're stupid. Going and worrying all of your friends like that." He said. Tanjiro gasped.
The upside down boy pulled himself up before dropping himself onto the ground in front of Tanjiro. He poked him on the forehead, glaring. "I was there, those girls were freaking out." He sat down, crossing his arms. "How's the gash?"
"Oh uhm. It's fine, just hurts when I laugh or yell...or when people touch it." Tanjiro said answered. He shrieked when Inosuke poked his chest, doubling over. "Ah, did that hurt? Are you hungry?" Inosuke prodded, leaning forward.
"No no...I'm okay." Tanjiro sat up and gave a weak smile. "I've got a strong body...haha!" He said. Inosuke blanked. "Fight me then."
"Huh?!"
"Fight me."
"What?! We're at school!"
"Lame."
The green eyed boy picked around in the dirt, grabbing a few rocks and setting them between he and Tanjiro. "Well, I guess... But we have no reason to fight? So why would we?"
"Because it's fun... Or just... uh... I dunno, strength test?" He tilted his head. Tanjiro looked him over, his shirt was dirty and his pants looked baggy. His hair was messy cherry blossom petals were in his bangs.
Tanjiro felt himself begin to laugh, covering his mouth. "Hah?! What's so funny?!" Inosuke shouted, watching as the tan boy fell over himself laughing. "Tch, idiot." Inosuke crossed his arms.

After lunch ended, Tanjiro and Inosuke went into the building and departed to their classes. Tanjiro didn't know if he could handle his sensei's attitude today, so he was nervous about his class.
He got to his class and saw Sanemi Shinazugawa, his senses, standing at the door leaning against the wall. He gulped. "Welcome back Kamado. How's your injury?" He asked, standing upright and looking at his student.
"Oh, it's alright. I just can't make many harsh movements or touch it, the usual." Tanjiro smiled, his sensei was showing a sort of concern for his state, so he was going to take in the shock and let it subside. A simple no yelling conversation with his over-the-top aggressive sensei.
"That's good. Get to your seat, the bell will ring soon." He ordered in a calm tone. Tanjiro obliged and snorted upon hearing his once calm sensei go off on a student for almost being late as she arrived a second or two before the bell rung.
