You were out while Cal was home, it was your birthday and he didn't say anything to you yet. You thought he forgot so you went and told everyone that you were going for a walk to clear your mind.
Once you left he immediately started working, blowing the balloons, putting up the banners etc. Everyone had a job too, Olive and Zeke made the cake, and Ben and Michela also helped with the decorations, Eden made you a little card. Everyone was running around getting things done fast just in case you came back early. After an hour they finished, they were proud of what they accomplished. As if right on time, you arrived back, you opened the door and it was dark, you thought no one was home. Once you took a step forward, the lights turned on, balloons were everywhere, confetti was in your hair. You were shocked once everyone said, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY Y/N!!" you couldn't have been happier. After that, you all got to partying and Cal pulled you away for a second "Happy birthday N/N" he smiled while looking at you, clearly happy.
