As time goes by || •Sasuino•

: Before the Finals.

Ino sighs as she stares at the single rose in her hold, earlier, she supposedly visited sasuke with sakura to leave him a flower for goodluck rest and speed recovery but.. That damn Uchiha escaped the hospital putting the nurse into panic.

'Some people just won't understand that they shouldn't always forced themselves.' Ino thought clearly annoyed at sasuke for leaving the hospital and at the same time, disappointed that she didn't even get to leave the flower on Sasuke's bedside.

After the discovery of Sasuke's sudden disappearance or escape. Ino bide sakura goodbye as they went on their separate ways.

Ino went to visit choji leaving a bowl of fruits in hopes he gets to recover soon. Ino could still remember how that dosu defeated choji with one strong attack during the genin Elimination!

Ino had decided to win against sakura, who she is unfortunately had to fight, and now that Ino's is in finalize stage as well. One of the things she heard when the advisor is announcing who they get to fight for the last phase, Ino can't help but pull a twitching smile.

She was against dosu for the next upcoming battle. 'I'll beat that guy to pulp I swear-!' Ino said glaring at supposedly dosu however she glared down at the rose instead.

"I thought you love flowers? Why are you glaring at it."

Hearing Sasuke's voice Ino's head is quick to look up and glared at sasuke "I'm not glaring at the rose! I was thinking of beating someone which unfortunately make me glared at the rose as the image of that very creature annoys me" Ino in the most spiteful tone spoke.

Sasuke smirks at her completely amuses by her reply before he went on and stood in front of her, Ino was sitting in a swings located at their park.

"Why are you holding that anyway?" Sasuke asked curiously finding it weird that the yamanaka is just sitting alone glaring at some flower in her hand.

"Well- first and foremost- This is SUPPOSEDLY for someone who should be in the hospital resting. But alas! I found out HE went out without any word at all."

The way Ino spoke clearly indicates that she's referring the sasuke, the way her eyes roll as well added to her sassyness.

Sasuke can't help but chuckle.

"Oh sorry, I have to train or else I might lose against that red head plus.. This is the first time you actually visited me no? I thought you never will."

Sasuke explained at the same time he sounds sad and disappointed that Ino only visited him today when his been there for 3 days.

Ino fake cough and look at sasuke in the eyes "Well sorry sasuke that I'm more concerned over choji. His my teammate you know? I have to train as well"

Although Ino barely sees it, sasuke seems to get disappointed before his expression returned to normal.

Ino extended her hand, offering the rose to Sasuke "Take it, it's meant for you anyway" Sasuke looked down on the rose, normally he would have reject or ignore this but.. This is from Ino. And him and Ino, no matter how hard he denies it, can be now considered closed to each other.

Sasuke take a hold of the rose's base at the same be also went to touch Ino's hand.

"Ino.. Let's win the fight together."

Her expression were her mouth is opened in a shape of o with a small blush before she looks away with a smile "It's not like we're going to work together in the Chunin exam you know? But-.. I'll watch you so don't lose against some sand ninja named 'gaara'"

Ino look at sasuke with a cheeky grin while Sasuke smirks "Who said I plan to lose? Anyway I'll be off to go back training. You should go back too since It's late already"

And therefore, Sasuke disappeared. Ino look at where sasuke disappeared before she stood and planned to go home herself.

As ino go home, little does she know, Sasuke had followed her to make sure she come home jist fine but who cares right? In the end, giving sasuke the rose is still a success.

Ino stood besides shikamaru feeling incredibly nervous, they're is some kind of arena she never went in before and.. And when she looks up there's so many people watching them! Oh god- Just what type of fight will they have that even normal civilians payed to watch them genin's-

Ino decided to ignore whatever is up there and look around the participant noticing how three participants is not here yet.. First and foremost is sasuke, where the heck is that guy? Second is Dosu, That bastard! Don't tell me he run away!? And thirdly, Naruto.

Oh yeah speaking of naruto, when Ino turned to see what chaos is happening behind her she sees naruto in the most messiest hair ever. Like his normal look couldn't compare to what he had today.

"Sorry, I woke up late." The only thing naruto said before he starts glaring at neji who just ignored him. Wrong move. Since Naruto seems REALLY mad serious.

"Dosu had suddenly disappeared so the fight him and between Ino will be cancelled. Automatically putting Ino into winning the fight." The instructor or ino may call it, referee.

"What!? That bastard!" Ino angrily commented while Shikamaru gets to pat her shoulder.

"Where is Sasuke Uchiha? Is he forfeiting as well-" "NO. His just late." Naruto cut the referee off, his eyes now looking straight at him.

"Alright. As you may see I'll be your new referee as the former one is unable to attend now." When he said that Ino thought that the sick guy is probably taking a rest but oh boy- How different the actual reason is.

"I'll be explaining the rules now. I'll be the referee, you can fight as much as you want however I will step in if I starts finding the fight life threatening. Additionally, you can give up before or mid fight which will of course, result to your opponent taking the win."

"We will now start the battle. Anyone here except Neji Hyuga and Naruto Uzumaki please go up in the waiting area using that door."

"We will Now start the first battle between Neji Hyuga and Naruto Uzumaki! Ready.."

"Fight!"
