"Congratulations shikamaru! You're the only one to be promoted into a chunin so do eat a lot! You deserve it!" Ino happily chime clapping her hand together with a smile

Shikamaru sighs and mumble 'whatever' before he took a look at Ino's direction again

"Choji! Don't eat everything that's not all for you!" Ino scolded taking the entire 3rd plate away from choji who cried out in despair

"huh? What are you looking at shikamaru?"

"I'm not looking at you. I'm looking at HIM." Shikamaru pointed at sasuke who's for some reason is sitting besides Ino. Peacefully eating.

"Huh? What's wrong with sasuke kun?"

"What do you mean what's wrong- Why is he here?? Isn't this for team 10 only." Shikamaru watches in disbelief as the said loner uchiha put a newly cook BBQ on Ino's plate.

What the f-ck.

"Oh come on! Did you not see naruto and sakura? They literally entered to eat as well! This is what you get for being so lazy. Team 7 and sir asuma is over there" Ino points at a table not so far from them but Thats not the point.

"Okay- but why is he on OUR table." Shikamaru put a slice of cook beed in his mouth watching definitely not sasuke hand feed Ino. Shikamaru swears his seeing things.

"What's wrong with sasuke kun being on our table? You didn't complain earlier why are you complaining now?" Ino huffs in argument, she's right. Shikamaru didn't complain earlier.

But that's because It's just them here earlier before team 7 arrives and THIS UCHIHA SUDDENLY SAT WITH THEM INSTEAD OF HIS OWN TEAMMATES???

Earlier.

"Woow!♡ Asuma sensei is bringing us to eat BBQ!" Ino happily hums with choji praising asuma after her or more likely, in front of them.

"I'm so excited hehe... Thank you for being a chunin Shikamaru .." Choji daydreams with a drool probably already imagining about the food already.

Shikamaru sighs, why does he have to be the only chunin? It's already troublesome to be a genin and now he have more responsibility.

Maybe he should have just given up much earlier during the fight [(‎ ‎¯ࡇ¯ )]

Oh well. Too late for that now.

When they sat down Shikamaru didn't expect to hear naruto's enthusiasm voice. It cause asuma and kakashi to starts talking whatever Shikamaru doesn't care about.

It seems like even if Shikamaru is the only genin to become a chunin kakashi still decided that his team 7 deserves a treat for doing great

Well it's not like he cares much. He onlt talls to naruto and sakura about it and even laugh here and there, he didn't notice that Ino is already somehow talking to sasuke without sakura interfering or getting mad.

Okay he DID noticed- but that's not his bussiness at all. It may be weird but you do you.

Until they very predicament he find himself to. Maybe he should have at the very least curiously listen to Ino and sasuke because somehow the uchiha seated with them instead of with sakura and naruto.

It took a whole 30 minutes for Shikamaru to registered what happened.

Shikamaru could only sighs and mumble troublesome as he continue into minding his own bussiness again. He can ask ino about in another time for now, eat before choji eat it all.
