The New Employee

Today was just a regular Thursday. I was all done with my paperwork for the month and the Executives were satisficed with the new bot and progress was going smoothly. I was trying to draw some designs for the third bot when i noticed something. I was having a difficult time drawing the bot. This bot was gonna be a him this time and i was having difficulty's drawing  rough sketches of this bot. I was so busy this past week that i had no time to work on my drawing and it just got out of hand. "Man this thing is stressful. Who knew that trying to draw a super human robot would be so tiring", I said to myself when just then, i got a note to come down to the lobby. I quickly made my way down to the lobby when i saw Oliver standing in the front room. "Oh hey there Oliver", I said. "Hey there Lizzywizzy. I have a little surprise for you", Oliver said as he took my hand and we walked outside. "Where are we going", I asked. "I have a little surprise for our one month anniversary", Oliver said as he told me to close my eyes. We walked for what seemed like forever. "Ok you can open them eyes now", Oliver said as i opened my eyes and was amazed. We were in the community garden that wasn't far from the Simmons Center. I saw a huge statue with Oliver and i on it. "How did you even do this", I said. "They wanted a statue of you to represent how much you helped the world out with the new bots and since i was the one helping out, i did a little editing", Oliver said. "It's beautiful", I said. Just then, i got another notification that someone was waiting for a job review. "Oh i have to do an interview now", I said. "You go do your interview, I'll wait for ya. Possibly all day", Oliver said as i waved at him and i left. 

Liz then waved at me and she was out. I then tapped into my watch and she was in contact again. "How has everything been going so far", the other end said. "Perfectly, soon when all of those bots are made, they won't be what the government wanted and she will disposed of them. Then i will frame her for getting rid of the most dangerous weapons and such, she will be arrested and i will take over, sorry, we will take over the Simmons Center once and for all", I said. Good, now Liz just needs to make those bots and the rest can continue onward. Were so close and we won't fail", The figure said. "Oh don't worry Jessie, I won't let you down like that Liz did. Both figurative and made up", I said. "Oh would you drop that. Why would you think that i would fall for Liz? She's nothing but a funny tune", the other end said. "True. Don't worry though, I won't fail. I never fail", I said as i hung up. 

I rushed through the door's of the Simmons Center and there he was in my office. A 16-year old boy was in my office as he was waiting for me. "Oh hello there Liz", He said to me. "Why hello there sir", I said. "You can call me Xander", Xander said. "Very well Xander", I said. "Here is my resume", Xander said as he pulled out his resume and handed it to me. "Lets see here, camp counselor for camp Trailblazers, eagle scout, did football, seems that your all over the place", I said. "Well i do like to do a lot of things", Xander said. "It says here that you also won many first place's in a robot building club", I said. "Oh that's one of my most proudest achievements, It's one of the reasons that i wanted a job here", Xander said. "Oh really", I said. "Indeed. When i heard that you were making robots here, i just couldn't resist:, Xander said. "Well that is true but i need someone who can help me with these robots. Tell you what, if you really know a thing or two about robots and how they work, you will help construct one of the many robots that I'm working on here", I said. "That sounds like a fair deal", Xander said as i walked him down into the building room. "Man this is a cool room", Xander said. "Indeed it is. One of the most safest places to be in. Now lets get down to business, i have all of the needed tools over there for this bot but i need a blueprint of how to build this thing", I said. Xander then started to draw something on the nearby piece of blue paper once i was finished. "What are you doing", I asked Xander. "Oh just making a blueprint like you asked me too", Xander said as he then showed me the blueprint. "Oh my god this is amazing. How did you come up with this", I asked. "Just saw what you were doing wrong and fixed those holes and bam", Xander said. "Well lets get building", I said. We then got started with the legs as we both made a leg and attached them. Next was the torso witch was no problem as we just used Jessie's notes from before. Then we made the arms and attached the skin shell and the bot was made. I then injected him with the serum and he was good to go. "I have to say that was extremely quickly", I said. "What can i say? I'm just that good at making bot's", Xander said. "We could really use someone like you around here", I said. "So does that mean", Xander said. "Yes indeed, you're hired", I said. "Thank you Ms. Gravely", Xander said. "Oh please, you can just call me Liz", I said. "Ok Liz. Now when do i start working", Xander said. "We don't need anything special for the rest of the day so you can start working tomorrow", I said. "Great, then i will see you tomorrow", Xander said as he left the room. "Now back to the bot's baby", I said.
