You're currently at your apartment, getting ready to chill with Nick for the day. He had texted earlier asking if you wanted to hang out. You replied saying that you were interested, and decided on a time to meet.

You finish getting ready, and Nick texts you saying that he's almost there. You reply, and then sit on your couch scrolling on your phone while you wait. You hear a car door shut, and your ears prick up from the noise. You close the tab you have open on your phone, then you lock it.

The next thing you know, you hear a knock on your front door. You get up, and walk to it so you can open it. After you open it, you see Nick standing there smiling at you.

"Hi, you ready to go?" He asks.

"Yeah, let me grab a couple things first." You say, then he nods.

You walk away for a minute to grab your purse, and your keys. You turn off the lights on your way out, locking the door before you both leave. After you both get in the car, Nick drives somewhere.

"So where are we going again?" You ask.

"Somewhere to eat, I'm starving." He says.

"Alrighty then." You say.

He continues driving, and you decide to scroll through twitter on your phone. (No, I will not be calling it X. Fuck you Elon Musk.)

You snort as you see a meme, and Nick looks at you for second. "What's so funny?" He asks.

"Nothing, just saw a meme that I found hilarious." You reply.

"Better not be sneaking any photos of me, now." He says.

"Oh relax will you." You say.

"Kidding." He says. He then focuses on the road again, as you go back on your phone.

A while later, you both arrive at the restaurant. After you both get situated and order your drinks, you both take a look at the menu.

A certain item on the menu catches your eye, and he asks what it is. You tell him, and makes a comment.

"If you're getting that, then I deserve some of this." He says pointing to an item that he wants.

"Go ahead. Nothing is stopping you." You say laughing.

He glares at you, then says, "Fine by me."

The waitress walks up to your table, and she takes your orders. After she takes the menus, she walks away.

You both talk, which include laughing, as well as being unhinged. You get a dirty look from someone even.

Eventually, you get your food and eat. After you get done, Nick pays and you get back in his car.

He then suggests going back to your apartment. You agree, and he starts driving back to your place. When you get back, and get inside, you both just watch stuff on TV for a while.

He leaves that night, and you don't sleep until late.
