Chapter 15: Fight

Observing the five Genin before him, leader of mercenaries, a samurai-like individual, stood firm, wielding a samurai sword while adorned in lacquered hardwood armor. His countenance exuded a fierce intensity.

Two towering figures, resembling bears, each measuring two meters in height, caught the eye. One brandished a large metal stick, while the other gripped a machete. However, their intimidating presence seemed more like a facade, as their prowess in ninjutsu appeared lacking.

A masked female ninja garbed in purple stood alongside a ninja with a distinctive pineapple-shaped hairstyle, who wielded a long staff resembling a bamboo pole.

Although these individuals lacked great Chakra strength, their experiences as battle-hardened mercenaries endowed them with an indomitable spirit far surpassing the lackluster performance of the timid girl accompanying Orochimaru.

"Dispatch them swiftly!" Orochimaru flung his long staff, proclaiming, "Shadow Clone Technique: Shuriken!"

"What?!" Several opponents found themselves in a state of urgency when they witnessed the abundance of projectiles coming their way.

Orochimaru charged directly at the young samurai-clad boy, his clawed hand aiming for the boy's face.

The samurai boy retaliated, slashing at Orochimaru with his knife.

Orochimaru deftly evaded, allowing the blade to slice through the air close to his face. The samurai was taken aback by Orochimaru's casual evasion. Seizing the opportunity, Orochimaru swiftly struck, his hand contorting at an odd angle as it pierced through the samurai's hand holding the sword, immobilizing him by grasping his neck.

The samurai struggled in horror, only to be forcefully slammed onto the ground by Orochimaru. With a crushing force, Orochimaru crushed the samurai's throat, resulting in a dreadful "click" sound.

"What?!" The remaining ninjas were startled. Despite being fellow ninjas, they were defeated within seconds!

"Observe the extraordinary power I have recently acquired!" Tsunade declared, unwilling to be outdone. She launched a powerful punch towards one of the brawny men wielding a large stick.

With a resounding "bang," the brawny man broke into a cold sweat, his stick knocked out of his hands by a single punch.

Another punch followed, causing the brawny man to drop to one knee.

"Go to hell!" exclaimed the brawny man with the machete, slashing towards Tsunade.

Tsunade's eyes turned cold as she abruptly raised one leg. The brawny man with the machete received a powerful kick to the chin, resulting in a spray of blood and teeth. With the force of the impact, his two or three-hundred-pound body was sent flying like a discarded rag.

After a few more punches, both brawny men lay defeated at Tsunade's feet.

"Hey, you're all a bunch of weaklings!" Tsunade sneered disdainfully.

Meanwhile, Jiraiya had effectively subdued the ninja with the pineapple hairstyle, tightly restraining him with his own hair. Witnessing the blood-drenched, convulsing figure lying on the ground, Jiraiya couldn't help but feel a twinge of remorse.

"Illusion: Immobilization!" The masked ninja in purple felt her heart sink. She unleashed an illusion intended to leave Jiraiya momentarily disoriented, but he quickly recovered and swiftly advanced towards the timid girl, Dian'an.

"Hmph!" Orochimaru regarded the ninja coldly, causing her to feel as if her head had been struck by a sledgehammer. She stumbled and screamed in distress. Orochimaru then flung a handful of his long staff, piercing her heart with a resounding thud.
