A Brutal Morning.

Every morning was the same in her life. Wake up at 5 in the morning, get dressed, stumble down the stairs and shovel whatever she could down her throat, and drive to college. Y/N was a Film major and a good one at that. She was a smart individual. ..When she applied herself that is. Upcoming was a huge assignment, to create a short film it was most of her grade for the semester.

I just so happened to be partnered up with a few friends, along with my best friend ever! I had known Mia for a long, long time. Since before you could even remember!
She and I had been through it all, good and bad.
Most of my group mates were people I got along with in that class, I'm close friends with most of them.

"Oh Ehm GEE! We got partnered!" Mia shouted excitedly, getting a couple of nasty looks from a couple of nasty people. Her excited voice snapped me out of my stupor.

"Oh yeah, we did huh? I guess it's fate ain't it?"  I smiled and wrapped an arm around her shoulder. Mia laughed, it was contagious. We grouped up with the people we were supposed to be with. Our group was comprised of either super smart people or super dumb people. Like Liam. Liam is stupid. "Hey hey hey! Y'all are in good hands! I'm here to save us, we couldn't possibly fail with me here!" Liam boasted. I snort sarcastically, I smack the back of his head. "Yeah, we're doomed. Lucky we have Lilah, huh?" I look towards the brunette woman beside us, she's smart and super friendly. "Hmhm!" Lilah giggled and placed a hand over her mouth. "I'll do my best!" I laughed and stood beside Mia.

"So, what's the plan for our project?" Lilah asked politely.  "I was thinking something nature-esk. What do you guys think?" I replied, Mia making a silly face beside me. I glance at her and try to repress a laugh. She's way to comedic to not laugh at. I laughed for a solid minute before giggling and returning my focus to the task at hand; deciding our projects subject.

"My grandparents owns a nice cabin out by the lake. If you wanted to do the project near that forest a few miles away we could go there and film." Damien suggested. Damien was a rather tall dude. Honestly kinda intimidating; if he wasn't the most gentle soul I've ever met that is. "Yeah! That'd be sick, Damien! Okay, Location set. Now what's our theme? Our plot?" I replied, absolutely stoked.

"Oooh! It should be a horror film! I've heard SO many spooky stories about that forest!" Mia beamed excitedly, she jumped up and down. I personally thought that wasn't a bad idea. "Y'know, not a bad idea!" Liam said, he smirked at her.
'Not on my watch.' I thought, I glared at him. Liam stopped smirking and looked away. He frowned, mumbling to himself.
"Yeah Mia, that's a good idea. What do you think, Lilah?" I looked at Lilah, waiting for her answer.
"Yeah. If that's what you all would like, we can do a horror film." Lilah responded with a smile. I nod and glance at Mia. She has stars in her eyes at this point. Mia has a huge obsession for horror things. I'm of mild interest, it's interesting depending on the topic. Like ghosts don't really bother me. I'm more of a psychological thriller kind of person. "Really? Stories about our forest?" I commented. Mia's eyes widened and she gasped dramatically. "YOU'VE NEVER HEARD THE STORIES?! We have lots to talk about at lunch!" Mia squealed. I sighed with a smile. Oh Mia... "I'm looking forward to it." I spoke sarcastically. We turned our attention back to the group. "Okay, so what's the plot then?" Liam asked. I paused. What was our plan? Hmm.. maybe Mia had some ideas? "Hey Mia, you said you knew stories about that forest? Any ideas for a plot for the film?" I asked Mia, she smirked. "Do I have any ideas? Are you kidding me?! Of course I do!" Mia jumped up and down excitedly.

"So! The plot is a group of friends go to the cabin in an attempt to summon Slenderman! They succeed, get spooked, and run away from the cabin and they live! Yadda Yadda, Bada-Bing-Bada-Boom! We got a good film, we all get a good grade, we pass the class and everybody is happy!" Mia explained, she had stars in her eyes. It was obvious she was passionate about these stories. Which is why none of us had the heart to tell her these were just stories.
