"Hey guys," the blonde woman greeted them, the door opened, and two brunet men, one slightly taller, smiling down at her, standing close by one another.

"Hey, ho- how is he?" Sapnap mumbled, shyly playing with his hands by his stomach, waiting for an answer from the blonde.

"He's fine." She explained calmly, "He's very tired and he still needs help with pretty much everything," she gestured into the hallway, signalling the two to enter the house, shutting the door behind them.

"He's been asking for you two," she added, watching the men kick off their shoes, George's face jerking up at the words.

"He has?" He huffed, a slight red tint appearing on his cheeks, his heart pounding a few extra beats, the smaller brunet huffing a little next to him.

"Come on don't lose your panties, he's probably just bored and wants some company," Sapnap laughed, and George's blush only deepened in colour giving the younger a light elbow stab into his ribs as he walked past, the other mumbling a quiet "ow".

"He's right upstairs, follow me," Dream's mum spoke now, chuckling at the childish banter she had heard so much about from her son.

They stopped at a large white door where she lifted a hand to knock against the wood, a quiet groan from inside making her twist the knob, and slowly push her face past the frame.

"Hey honey," she spoke with care and love lining her voice that made George's breath soften and his heart calm, he thought It might have been her experience as a nurse, soothing patients was a top priority, especially when it was her own son laying in that bed.

"You have some visitors sweetie," she added, Dream's eyelids blinking as she pushed the door open fully, the two walking in with large smiles pity lacing their features seeing their man laying there, helplessly wincing in pain when he tries to sit up.

"Hey hey baby, don't try to get up okay?" George quickly rushed over to the blond's bed, sitting by his side and grabbing his hand, gently pushing his chest back against the mattress, to stop him from trying to get up.

"George," the blond groaned, lifting his hand and reaching for the brunet's face, smiling up at him while opening his eyes and blinking in his direction.

"Hey," George whispered, petting over his hair and watching him, Sapnap now also stepping up to the large bed, sitting opposite of George, holding the blond's free hand.

"Hey there idiot." The youngest muttered and Dream's face flung over to him, his smile growing even wider as he saw his best friend right by his side.

"You're the idiot," The blond breathed, and Sapnap laughed at his croaky voice.

"You look like shit." Sapnap rebutted, lifting a strand of Dream's hair into the air before letting it fall back down onto his forehead, the blond wincing slightly, rolling his eyes.

"I'm happy to see you both," he muttered tight squeezes into both of his friend's hands, feeling them press back firmly.

"And we're happy you didn't die baby," George whispered, leaning forward and pressing a kiss to the blond's forehead before pushing his body up against the taller man, scooting lower with his back so that he was laying next to Dream, hands still tightly intertwined between the two of them.

"I'm happy about that too," the blond laughed, head snuggled up against the brunet's.

"Hey George?" He slurred, opening his eyes and waiting for a reaction from the man before continuing.

"I'm thirsty, could you give me that cup there, behind you?"

"Of course honey," he pressed a quick peck against the man's lips before turning around and reaching out a hand to grasp the cup, carefully lifting it over to the bed, Dream trying to drink in his lying position and yelping as he spilled cold water down his bare chest.

"Okay, wait this is not working," Sapnap said, taking the cup and slowly helping the man sit up, George gently pushing on his other shoulder, pulling a large pillow up from where it lay on the floor and stuffing it behind the blond's back, so he could rest into it but was still sitting upright.

"Here you go," Sapnap handed the cup to the taller, who took a few large sips, before pushing the beverage to the side, deep breaths and panting making him hold his chest slightly as a few coughs made him groan in pain.

"Are you okay?" George asked, worried expression on his face, as Dream winced a few more times at the uncomfortableness that came with sharp, unpredicted movements, like coughs or sneezes.

"I'm alright, now both of you, scoot in. Tell me everything. How's Patches?

What have I missed?" He spoke quickly now, changing looks from George to Sapnap, the two of them only looking at one another, confused at the sudden attitude change in the blond, a few chuckles here and there as they do as told, scooting their butts, and laying down next to Dream, George started with updates of patches well being before rolling his eyes at whatever senseless thing it was that week the antis were upset about.

They lay like that for what seemed like hours, talking, joking, laughing. Having fun like back all those years ago, when each of them was sitting at their own desk, George a whole ocean away, different time zones making it difficult to hang out. They'd never have to be apart again.

Finally together at last.
