Dawn breaks, seeping sun through the cracks of Yumiko's curtains and shining on her face. She slowly but surly starts to remember everything from last night and wishes that it was nothing but a nightmare. She looks around her room but sees nothing, everything looks normal... She thought. Then she hears the sound of her mothers voice singing and the smell of her delightful breakfast she cooks every morning. She stares off into deep thought again but shakes her head to wake up from it.
Mrs. Jensen: Yumiko! Darling come down for breakfast honey!
Yumiko: (confused) yeah mom I'm coming in a split sec.
Yumiko's thoughts: what happen last night?! ... Oh my god! (Her eyes widen) Jake! ( with her hands on her head she begins to tug on her hair) what did I do?
Yumiko runs out the house with a quick goodbye kiss on her moms cheeks and grabbed some toast and stuffed it in her mouth.
Yumiko: I'll see ya later mom. Promise.
Mrs. Jensen: Alright dear. (With a smile on her face)
Yumiko runs to the school bus but misses it as she continues to run to the next stop of kids.
Yumiko: (Out of breathe) I made it.
Bus driver: Hey kid are you on or not? I don't got all day here.
Yumiko: Yeah. Yeah! I'm on. (Yumiko gets on the bus and sits in the back with a bunch of strange looking group of kids)
*Blare sneaks up on Yumiko and scares her by screaming at her*
Yumiko: (still outta breathe) Ahhh! Are you tryna kill me?!
Blare: *Giggling* Oh! I'm so sorry Yumi! Are you ok? ... (Staring off in remembrance of last night) I didn't mean to...are you feeling any better from last night?
Yumiko: Yeah I'm fine thanks for asking... So what exactly happen last night...?
Blare: well I mean you-
Yumiko: Oh no, no that's not what I meant... I mean ... I remember. I just need to talk to Jake is all... And... Yeah... How are things between you and Chase? Huh?
Blare: ( In confusion) Oook... And what do you mean me and Chase?
Yumiko: Yeah silly, you and Chase? Haha, you two are cute as a button.
Blare: Have you hit your head hard last night? Cause there's nothing between me and Chase. I put it to you straight. Hahaha. Me and Chase.
Yumiko: Oh blare! Your not serious are you? ...
Blare: Yeah, I thought I made it pretty clear. I can't ruin my reputation over this guy. He's a nerd. Ew.
Yumiko: Oh sweetie. Sometimes your blond curly hair suits you ya know?
Blare: (Pulls her long hair in front of her eyes to look at it) What? What's that suppose to mean?
Yumiko: *Laughing* Aww! Oh it's nothing. It's why your my friend really.
Blare: *Smiles* Yayy! I love you too girl! Sooo... Does this mean you be coming back with us to set up stuff? Ya know ...Homecoming and all... Takes a lot of planing ya know, can't do it without ya...
Yumiko: Yeah I know... But why so early? I mean Homecoming is like a week from now... Ya?
Blare: Yeah. So. Were doing it cause I wanna see if the equipment fits and functions right in the room were given and I also wanna see what color theme would look great with the lights. I mean if I start to do it all last minute, nothing will go right ever! I just want it to be perfect is all. Why do you ask?
