"Seriously? You really wanna do this?" Louis questioned after they met up again the next day.

"You're not the only one who dreams about being a musician, Louis. I just never had the guts to go for it." Harry shrugged.

"Yeah." Zayn agreed and Liam nodded his head.

Harry took his hand.
"The question here is if you wanna do this? We totally understand if you wanna be a solo artist, love. After all, you're the one who's brave enough to pursue your dream. I don't want to stand in the way of that."

Louis looked around at the guys and smiled.
"Are you fucking kidding me? Yeah, I totally wanna do this. We need a band name!"

"Niall and the potatoes." Niall suggested with a smirk.

Louis rolled his eyes.
"That's not happening."

They all gave suggestions, one sillier than the other. Then Harry opened his mouth.
"One Direction."

They thought about it. Let it roll on their tongues.
"Yeah." Louis smiled.

"Sounds good to me." Liam agreed.

"Absolutely." Niall said. Zayn nodded his head.

They spent the whole day singing. Louis wasn't the only one who had written songs.
"I'm gonna rebook the studio. We need time to rehearse." Louis said.

He made the call. They got time in the studio a month later. All of them took it seriously and met up as soon as they had free time. Louis slept even less and dragged his ass to Liam's club to clean it. They used the club the rehearse during the days and evenings. Liam bought a cheap piano and placed it in the back.

Louis' mother's wedding was coming up. Louis brought Harry to Doncaster the weekend before the wedding to introduce him to his family. It went well. They drove to Holmes Chapel to meet Harry's family as well and they were lovely.

On their way back to London Harry seemed lost in thoughts.
"What's up?" Louis asked.

Harry glanced at him and smiled.
"I'm just happy."

"Me too." Louis answered softly.

They came home late but ended up having sex anyway, vanilla style. Louis was half asleep when Harry said something that made his eyes spring open.
"I love you."

Louis pulled back so he could look at him because he wasn't sure that he actually heard that.
"What?"

"I love you. I just needed to say that but I don't expect you to say it back or anything. Just... I love you. I can't believe how many times I repeated that. Sorry." Harry rambled nervously.

Louis grabbed his jaw tenderly to make eye contact and smiled.
"Hazza! Shut up. I love you too."

Relief and then happiness flashed over Harry's face before he leaned in to kiss him which lead to the second round.

They had a busy week. As soon as Harry and Niall got off work they met up at the club to sing before Zayn had to get behind the bar and the club opened. Louis worked at night. He had taken the weekend off for his mum's wedding.

They drove to Doncaster on Friday as soon as Harry got off work. Jay hugged them both as soon as they stepped inside the house.
"I'm so glad you're here!"

They sat down in the kitchen with a cup of tea and talked about the wedding before they headed to sleep. They shared Louis' single bed in his old room.

The morning was chaotic. Louis' sisters took too long in the bathroom, Jay was running around and the youngest ones were crying. Louis stepped in and tried to organize the chaos and Harry helped him out.

Somehow they made it to the church in time. It was a beautiful wedding and Louis shed a tear or two. Harry handed him a handkerchief and put his arm around him.

At the wedding reception Louis' mum Jay introduced Harry to everyone. She had her arm linked to his and showed him off to every family member and friend.

Louis watched in amusement. Harry was all dressed in black with a hat on his head and sunglasses. His shirt was pretty much unbuttoned. He looked great but Louis could see that his extended family were surprised but Harry charmed them in seconds. He had contemplated saving him but there was no need to. Harry was hugging his granddad as if they had known each other for ages.

Louis' grandmother came up to him.
"I just met your boyfriend. Such a lovely young man."

"He sure is!" Louis smiled.

His grandma petted his cheek as grandmothers did.
"I'm happy for you. He's a keeper."

"Yeah." Louis beamed.

He decided to join his boyfriend. Wait, they were boyfriends, right? He realized that they hadn't exactly established their relationship status even if they had said the three big words. He pulled Harry to the side.
"Are you doing alright? Me family can be a bit overwhelming."

"They're great! I feel very welcomed." Harry smiled.

"Good. Are you me boyfriend?" Louis blurted out.

Harry let out a surprised laugh.
"I sure hope so!"

"Yeah, I mean, like, we never really discussed it. I want you to be." Louis said and blushed.

Harry smiled and gave him a quick peck on the lips before he took his hand and entwined their fingers.
"We've discussed it. Boyfriends."

Louis held a moving wedding speech to honor his mum and danced with her, well after Dan of course, before he dragged Harry to the dance floor.

They tumbled into bed late at night and gigglingly hushed each other while they exchanged quick handjobs since Louis didn't want his siblings to hear them.

They woke up at eleven and ate a late breakfast with Louis' siblings before they had to drive back to London.
"I had a great time. Thanks for inviting me." Harry said as they drove home.

"Well, as me boyfriend it was a given." Louis smiled.

"I really like your family." Harry answered.

"They like you too." Louis answered and Harry looked happy.
