Chapter 20

I am busy right now. For this whole week. It is our one week break but I have to go school everyday including saturday so it isnt exactly a holiday #bullshit. So sorry if my chapters are short :(

NICK'S POV

I was eating lunch on my bed. I took the remote control of the television and turned to TMZ. Out popped Miley and the interviewer. I smiled widely. She was talking about her new album. I smiled at the thought of her singing.

Then the interviewer asked a question about her relationships. For some reason, my heart started beating fast. Like it was desperate for her answer. To say me instead of Liam. But again, maybe I was desperate to get her back.

However, she said "I'm putting a hold on relationships now. I need time to think and release my album first so no I am not dating anyome right now."

I felt half happy half sad. Happy that she wasnt dating Liam but sad that she wasnt dating me either. Is it time that I move on?

MILEY'S POV

I just finished the interview and was on the way to see Nick at the hospital. I dont know if I should see him after what I said on LIVE TV. Maybe I should to explain myself but I felt reluctant. What if Selena was there? What if she chased me out again? And there is Liam. What would I say to him if I meet him next time?

I walked to Nick's ward slowly. At that moment, Selena came out of the ward. She saw me and said,"Speak of the devil. He was just asking for you." She motioned towards the ward. I nodded and started in the direction of the ward. I knocked on the door lightly and opened it slowly.

NICK'S POV

I heard light knocks on the door. I knew it wasnt from anyone of my family or Selena because they would just come in without knocking. The door opened and Miley appeared. My heart started to race. Why was this happening? I was moving on right? But I cant :(

"Hey!", she said. She came towards me and sat beside me. I told her that I saw her interview with TMZ and that I understood what she was going through perfectly. She looked up at me and smiled. She grabbed me and hugged me tightly. I had to cringe a little. I was still injured after all. "Sorry," she apologised. All was forgiven when she came to see me. I just wanted her to be here, with me. I wanted her to let me steal her heart and keep to myself. If only she would let me do that.

She leaned her head slowly against my shoulder and soon, she was sound asleep. I turned a bit to look at her and I smiled. She looked so peaceful while sleeping. I kissed her forehead and leaned my head against hers and smiled. This was the best might visit during my stay here in this hospital.

MILEY'S POV

I woke up the next morning to Nick smiling at me. "Good morning beautiful," he said. I stretched and rubbed my eyes. This was not a dream right? I looked at Nick and blinked a few times. "What did you say?" "I said 'Good morning beautiful'," he replied. I blushed when he said that.

He seemed to notice it as he brushed his hand lightly across my cheek. I still felt that same electricity when we were dating. I didnt know what I was doing as i took his hand quckly before it left my face. I gave it back to him awkwardly. I wanted his hand to be there. But I didnt have the guts to say it.

I looked up and stared into his eyes. He looked at mine. I found my eyes trailing down to his lips. He must have seen it as he leaned in and kissed me. I was taken aback by the sudden kiss but nevertheless, I enjoyed it. I knew then, that I was still in love with Nick.

He pulled away and leaned his forehead against mine and said,"Miley, will you be my girlfriend again? I promise to make you happy. Please?" I kissed him again and said,"Does that answer your question?" He nodded and we kissed again....
