LIAM'S POV
My phone started to ring. I looked at the caller-id and saw Miley. Should I pick it up? I decided against it. I wasnt in a mood to talk to anyone. But the phone kept ringing so I gave in. I picked up the phone and said hi.
Miley sounded exhausted. She said that I deserve a response to the confession I made earlier at the park and added,"I'm sorry Liam. But my heart belongs with Nick. But you will be my friend. My good friend. I hope you understand." I nodded as if she could see me. I felt tears starting to well up. "Hello? Hello?" I heard her calling frantically on the other line. I ended the call and lied on my bed. Guys can cry as well....
NICK'S POV
I was having a best friend day with Selena. She seemed oddly down though. She is hyper sometimes and then she is back to her emo self. Something was definitely up but when I ask her, she just shook her head and turned away. I sighed. I wrapped my arms around her and gave her a tight squeeze. She tensed then relaxed. We are best friends. She can tell me anything right?
SELENA'S POV
Nick hugged me! AHHHHH!!!! Can I just scream my heart out? He is still hugging me😨though. His head was on my shoulder and he was passed out. His arms are loosened around me but it is still a hug :P I sighed then removed his arms gently away from my waist and laid them on his stomach.
If Nick loves Miley, then being the best friend I should support them right? But sometimes, love is greater then friendship. I'm sorry Niley. But you arent going to last forever......
MILEY'S POV
I sat on the couch cross-legged and eating a pretzel. Delicious, these things are. I called Nick several times but he didnt answer it. I knew there want anything wrong and that he might be busy or something. OR SOMEONE!
-FLASHBACK- (At the park where Liam confessed to Miley)
L: And just to add.... if you ever feel down, you can find me. You know right?
M: -nods-
L: Because sometimes, people can love the person closest to them like I dont know... a best friend
M: What do you mean?
L: Oh nothing. Just saying something from past experiences....
-END OF FLASHBACK
Liam and Selena are quite good friends. Close enough to tell who they like. Thats when it struck me like lightning. Selena likes Nick. And I think she might do something to get him but I have to prevent because Nick is mine....
