The boys looked shocked for a second before covering it up. Then slowly Liam asked "You don't know who we are?"

i was puzzled. "No, I didn't know you guys before this. Why? Should I have known you? Did I meet you when i was very small?"

"No,no. Just asking." Louis said quickly.

"Oh.......kay??" My eyes narrowed. I knew that they were hiding something, but what?

I was just going to ask them when Zero decided to make himself known. He barked real loud and made a dash for it, again. That dog really had a skill for removing his leash!

"Aww damn! Come back here Zero, you dumb dog!" I screamed.

I turned around. "Look, can you guys help me? If I lose that dog my friend's gonna kill me."

"Okay!" the boys chirped.

"Let's do this!" Louis screamed happily.

I looked at him weirdly.Zayn noticed this and chuckled. "Don't worry, love." he said, "You'll get used to it.We all did."

"Okay, here's the plan. We surround the stupid dog. Whoever is closest grabs the shihtzu." I said.

"Wait, that's your brilliant plan? Seriously?" Louis asked incredulously.

"Hey! If you have a better plan, feel free to spit it out. My plan is a good, foolproof plan." I said defensively.

"Fine......we'll do this" Louis muttered clearly not happy.

"Okay, the dog ran towards the park. Let's check there first." I said.

The boys nodded and quickly put up their hoods and large sunglasses.

"Oh....kay?" I looked at them weirdly.

"Umm.......the sun is very hot and we don't want to get sunburnt?" Liam told me as if to justify their reason for dressing weirdly, only it came out more like a question.

"Whatever dude......I don't really care. Wait......NO ONE'S TRYING TO KILL YOU RIGHT?!?!? OR ARE YOU PART OF A GANG OR SOMETHING?!?!?!?" I asked overreacting as usual, "If that's it then I don't want anything to do with you guys....."

"Nope. I'm pretty sure I'm not in a gang or anything and neither are any of the other lads." Harry said chuckling.

"Hey! It's not funny! What if I got killed for being seen with you guys?" I said pouting.

"You're weird, you know that?" Zayn asked while stifling his laughter.

"Yeah,yeah. So I've heard." I replied distractedly as I searched the park. "There! There he is!" I screamed. "Now! Commence operation Catch Stupid Shihtzu!"

The boys and I spread out quickly and quietly. Zero was closest to Niall so he jumped out and tried to catch the dog. But, Zero, the sneaky mutt bit Niall and jumped out of his arms. Harry acted quickly and caught the dog while I ran towards Niall and inspected the bite.

"Oh fudgebiscuits! Zero bit you. Don't worry, you won't get rabies or anything but you should clean that bite, it can get infected. I know how Zero bites and it's painful.If you want you can come home with me, I have some antiseptic lotion for when Zero bites. It's really helpful." I rambled feeling kinda guilty.

"Fudgebiscuits?" Liam asked amused.

"What? I don't swear, okay?" I said defensively as I saw the boys laughing at me.

"Wait! Zero has bitten you too?" Niall asked suddenly.

I smiled ruefully and showed him the inside of my arms which were covered in bite marks. "Yeah, Zero and I don't really have the best relationship."

"Anyways....let's go! We should stop that bleeding." I said as I turned towards the direction of my apartment 5 gorgeous boys and 1 dog following me.
