" So, what makes you angry?"

" Stupid people. Fake people. Mean people. You. Death. Gym class. I worry about dying all the time. Like, all the time.

"Riri?" Someone knocked at my door. I close my book and sit properly before letting out a small 'yeah'

"I'm going to do some groceries in town. Auntie gave me some extra money to have fun and do cool stuff. Want to tag along?"

I roll my eyes, giving him side eyes.

"Have fun here? Literally in the middle of nowhere, like here?"

He rolled his eyes, too annoyed by my childish behavior.

"Yes here, you can even buy some books if you want."

Widen my eyes, I ask

"You mean there's a library in this ghost town?"

"The best you'll ever see." he assured me proudly. I looked out through my window, and oh well, he was persuasive.

"Nari, that's been 1 week already that you moved here, and you still haven't got out of the house. "

"Okay, stop acting like my mother, I'll go,"

He smiled

"Of course you'll go."

                           ☆

"And now?" Looking at his bucket list, my cousin exclaimed with a smile. "That's all!"
"Yeah!" I yelled while stretching my arms.
"Well, it seems like cool stuff time!" He excitedly said
"Hum, you mean seems like the-best-library-i'll-ever-saw time." My cousin let out a soft laugh
"Right."

                            ☆

"Well, you weren't lying. It's so anime material!" I exclaimed, admiring the library on the outside
My cousin proudly answered, "I know right, my friends and I like to come here for the vibe. Glancing at him, I sarcastically ask "Oh because you have friends, Lee!?"
He rolled his eyes with an annoyed expression

"Hahaha, you're so not funny. " I tried not to laugh putting on my best act
"Oh, but I'm genuine, I am so happy for you!" I say in a dramatic tone
I wiped the fake tears of my eyes

"My baby has grown so much."

"Tsk, you're so annoying."

We locked eyes, and we immediately burst out laughing.
After a while, I turned to him
"Hey Lee.. thank you for everything you did since I'm here."

He put his arm around my shoulder, looking back at me. "It's nothing, Nari."

"No, it means a lot to me."
He put on a cocky smile.

"Well, it's true that I'm like a very good person. We could even say that I'm one of the best things that never happened to you."

"Pfff." I rolled my eyes, "Don't exaggerate, though Lee."

He winked at me. "It's heeseungie-my-favorite for you~"

I rolled my eyes with a playful smile
"Whatever. "

                              ♧

The first thing I thought of when I saw the town was "eww" then I thought, "It's a joke, right? I can't be living here for TWO FREAKING MONTHES! Well, after having a short panic attack, I sigh

"Of course, it is not a joke ,get yourself together, Park Sunghoon. You're going to spend two months in the wild. What were you expecting.."

"Ohhh, I'm so excited to meet our grandparents! I bet they have a cute farm with a lot of animals, like cows!"

Yeji was jumping lightly, looking everywhere with her small eyes. She was the complete opposite of her older brother. Maybe it was because they have 12 years age gap or because Sunghoon spend his whole life on a rink. Either way, she's completely an extrovert, super sociable, and a total cutie.

"Oppa, can I hold your hand..? I'm so nervous, actually.."

Looking down at her small figure, I take her small hand in mine and squeeze it delicatly.

"Don't worry, Yejinie, I'm sure they have a super cozy farm with a lot of gentle cows." I smile at her, and she smiles back at me."You're right , they must have a super house!"

I chuckle, and while she continues to blabbering about how our grandparents must be cool, I check my phone. I have 6 text from my mom, I don't read them ,I'm still mad at her . I texted my grandfather, but he didn't text me back.

                              ♧

It's been two hours that I'm in this room, my room. Yeji must be cooking with our grandma, and our grandpa is still outside working. Well I heard he has a worker to help him. But sometimes he still has to work since he's not always there. Of course, I should be helping him, but right now, I'm busy. Busy sulking, well sulking, and thinking about how to escape without everyone knowing.

And that's how after that, the escaping-super-plan-idea popped into my mind. I opened my window, took my phone and my wallet, and jumped outside without any hesitation.

Well, I don't know where I'm going, but I'm not staying here that for sure.

                              ♧

It took me a while to teach the town, and now that I'm here, I really don't know what to do. There's basically nobody here, and it's really upsetting. How am I supposed to run away if I can't find a taxi.

It's with an empty stomach that I wander around the streets. When I finally began to think about returning to the farm, I heard voices. They were coming toward me.

"Shoot, what am I supposed to do talk to them?

"No, definitely."

And the only thing that popped into my mind was "hide"

I must look like a total weirdo right now, as I began to run for my life. Until I realized I was running in the wrong direction and that the voices were literally right around the corner.

So without a second thought, I rushed into the first shop I saw. Which happened to be a library.

And just when I thought I was safe, I heard them outside of the library.
Maybe I'm just realizing that I have some kind of social anxiety, but one thing for sure is that I felt that urge to hide.
So that what I did, running into the back of the library, I quickly sat on the floor, hugging my knees.

Panting hard, I had some trouble breathing normally just when I thought I was going to do a panic attack - for real, his time

I saw her

And I couldn't think of something else, but 'her'
