~Running through the woods breathing as hard as my body could take in, hearing the monster behind me on my trail not losing sight of me for one second.

only one turn it took, one step, one fall. Before I knew it, the monster caught up to me and just before he pounced on to me as if I was his prey..~

Waking out of my sleep breathing immensely, my alarm sounded off. Sighing softly after catching my breath, I get up and turn it off walking to my bathroom, "another nightmare" I murmured lowly to myself.

Ever since the incident happened, I've been having nightmares almost every night.. even on the nights I didn't, those were nights I never slept. No one knows but my best-friend Kia who I've known basically my whole life.. not even my own dad knows. Pretty tiresome I guess you can say but.. what am I suppose to do? go to some stranger to talk about my problems for their benefit of money when I couldn't even confide in my own mother? yeah, no thanks.

-

After getting washed up and dressed I finally got the strength to go downstairs for breakfast greeting my dad whose cooking breakfast for me and my other two siblings who were arguing like always every morning before school, "Good morning Dad, Silas and Rome" I said taking a seat at the table waiting for the food to be finished.

"Good morning Briel" said both Silas and Rome after concluding their argument and taking their seats beside me. I look at both of them and shakes my head. 'Who really argues early in the morning like this. It's 7AM might I add' I said thinking to myself.

I watched as my dad bring over four hot plates on a tray setting it in the middle of the table as my sister Rome look at the food licking her lips.  "fat ass" I whispered under my breath, not before long receiving a slap to the neck by her and a glare, I chuckle softly "what? don't act like it's not true. like every time I turn around it's always food in your hand and no one ever knows where it comes from" I said to her catching her rolling her eyes in response. "Okay settle down no need to beat each other up but, good morning girls and gentleman now eat up so you guys don't be late for your buses" said my dad.

I never liked riding the bus to school. I mean, of course it's not entirely bad cause I'm cool with the driver and my two friends ride it with me but, having to stand there for 15 mins or longer is tiresome when all you want to do is sleep. Then again, can't forget about the other kids on there who come on with their morning funk, loud ass music, loud ass voices stank ass bags of chips- HOT chips might I add, lots of drama i could honestly care less about- all of it is just annoying and a drag.

"But dadddd Simon isn't gonna be there so I don't want to" Silas said pouting while grabbing his plate from off the tray and putting it in front of him, Rome and me doing the same. "I don't care if your teacher wasn't gonna be there. You're going to school." my dad said slightly scolding him. "Okay.." he whispered lowly. I began eating my food before getting a text from one of my friends of our class schedule, saying that Zay was gonna be in all of our classes this year.

Great. Another reason for me to not want to go at all.

Zay wasn't a bad guy nor was he a bully or anything. he's always in good spirits which I love don't get me wrong but.. he also has a very enormous crush on me and.. I don't mind it but it can get overwhelming at times, especially after The incident I kind of don't want to be of any male attention at the moment.

I finish my food leaving my plate while grabbing my backpack and keys rushing out the door leaving my siblings behind and start walking to the bus stop.
