Chapter Six

Kia's POV
I haven't heard from my bestie in hours.. I'm starting to get worried for her. Maybe I should call Silas and see if he knows of her whereabouts.

Pulling out my phone, I go to Silas's contact and presses call on his number.

"What do you mean that bastard took her??" I ask Silas, not wanting to believe what he was telling me. "She's gone. He's gone. Both of their belongings were still at my moms though. I had already gathered Bri's stuff so it'll be returned to her once we find her." Silas said, letting out a frustrated sigh. "Please.. find her and have her come back home safely.. and if there's anything I can do to help with the search, let me know." I said in despair, "Will do Kia. I'll keep you updated" I heard him say before hanging up.

I can't believe this really happened to her.. I wholeheartedly hope he isn't hurting her anymore than he already has.. or at all.. she's only 12..

Jaime's POV
Police start arriving, surrounding the area we we were in. One of them pulled up to my car rolling their window down as I roll down mine, "Officer Frank, My partner here is Officer Harris. You're the one who called us here?" The man asked, after introducing himself and his partner. "Um no, my son did." I replied to him looking back and forth between the two men, "So you're Briel's Father?" He asked. "Yes sir." I said nodding, "okay, your son gave us the area of where your daughter could be. Now. We needed all the people we can get to make sure she gets to back to you as soon as possible. Everyone is here to help and an ambulance will be close by in case she's injured. We're all ready when you are sir." He said, nodding after his last sentence and rolling his window back up and driving behind one of the police cars that was parked.

This is it. It's time to get my baby back.

After Silas gets in the car, I start up my engine and began following behind officer Frank's car with other policemen vehicles behind me.

Briel's POV
Laying in this bed I was so badly beaten in, Feeling helpless with no one to call on..

Heh. at least I can't feel anything. it's the least good thing I get out of this situation.

I don't know who to blame.. myself? for letting him do such horrid things to my body, not saying anything to the one person who could've stopped everything in an instant?.. my mom? for allowing her to cause me just as much trauma, forcing me to keep something so taboo a secret?.. or.. Terri?.. for doing unspeakable acts to me and getting away with it?..

Maybe I deserved this.. I don't know what I've done in life to have deserved this revolting thing to happen but.. perhaps I shouldn't have said anything.. then I wouldn't be here.. wherever we are.

Whatever he injected me with has started to wear off. The pain of the beating began to affect me severely, causing me to yell out in agony, gripping on to the handcuffs that was still wrapped around my wrists.

Not long after, He comes in holding another dose of what he injected me with earlier.

"Someone's awake. I was starting to feel lonely without you." Terri said, a grin making a way to his face. "Why can't you just let me go.. I want to go home" I said, as tears roll down my cheeks. "I'm sorry, little one but, that just can't happen. I desire you too much to just.. let you go. No.. you can't go." He said, shaking his head making his way over to me.

Before I could have said anything else, once again and in the same place, he injected me. My body became numb. silence as before filled the room.

A/N: The search party is now in place to retrieve Briel. Will it be a success? Or will it bring them to a dead end?
