This is my first book I am writing. So any feedback you have would help greatly.
Flashback(3rd person POV) *Y/N and Harry are 10 months old twins.*
Lilly and James are sitting in their living room on Halloween night talking to Harry in a cute baby talk. Their daughter, Y/N Isabelle Potter, was upstairs being ignored as always. Suddenly they felt someone, who was not supposed to be there, enter into the house wards.
"Lilly take Harry upstairs into the nursery and keep him in there until I say so." James told her. Lilly ran upstairs with Harry in her arms. She went in the nursery where Y/N was laying down on her bundle of blankets that she sleeps on.
Suddenly she hears James scream downstairs and gets more nervous. She puts Harry closer to her chest and huddles with him. Just then Voldemort opens the door and looks around. He sees Lilly and Harry. He then sees Y/N in the corner of the room and turns to her. He walks over to her and picks her up. She starts giggling and wraps her arms around his neck and cuddles into his neck. Lilly starts screaming.
"Take her and leave us alone. We don't want you or her here." He was furious. He puts her down on the bundle of blankets and turns around to kill Lilly for talking to Y/N like that. But Albus Dumbledore was there in the doorway and killed him before he had a chance to kill Lilly. Meanwhile Y/N starts crying very loud, along with Harry who was already crying, when Voldemort puts her down.
The magic coming from everyone in the room makes the windows shatter and piece cuts a V on Harry's forehead in the corner. When Voldemort was killed he did not die but his soul shattered and a piece of his soul went into Y/N creating a scar/tattoo on her left shoulder on the back. Dumbledore went up to Lilly and she woke up from being knocked out. James came running up the stairs to see what damage had been caused. They all three huddled around Harry. Dumbledore didn't even glance at Y/N and said that Harry was the boy who lived.
