The next day while Lee was walking to school, she met a new kid, Veronica. "Dang it! I missed the bus! It's my first day too! This can't be good for my " Veronica exclaimed. "Hey? Do you mean the bus to Williamson Junior High?" Lee asked. "Yeah, how'd you know?" Veronica asked. "You know it's impolite to answer a question with a question right?" Lee asked. "Well, you just answered my question, with a question." Veronica said. "Oh, gosh dang it, you're right." Lee chuckled. "I'm Veronica, but you can call me Vee." Vee said. "Lisa, but everyone calls me Lee." Lee said. "That's funny! We both have a nickname that ends with ee." Vee said. "Yeah, I guess so!" Lee said while smiling. The two girls walked to school together and Lee told Vee what had been happening and the video she took the day before. "Woof, that was some pretty heavy stuff." Vee said. "If you think about it too hard, I guess so." Lee said. "Now, please promise to stay my friend even if anyone tells you any of those fake rumors!" Lee said. "Of course," Vee promised. "you're nice! That's what really counts!" Vee said. "It sure is!" Lee said proudly.
In school, Lee, and Vee find some of Ellie's friends bullying a group of kids. "If you guys look like Lee then you're obviously exactly like her!" One of the girls said. "Looks matter, you know. If you look one way then it tells what type of person you are." Another said. "Hey! That's not true at all! Looks don't matter! People can be whoever they want!" Lee confronted. "Yeah! Just because I wear oversized clothing and play video games, doesn't justify people to believe I'm lazy!" Vee said. "Ugh, look it's the fun police." Ellie said while stepping in front of the group of girls. "Hey! They aren't the fun police, they were defending us from those bullies!" One of the bully victims shouted. "Shut up kid!" Ellie said. "You can't talk to them like that! It's rude!" Vee said "And if you can't accept that then just leave." Lee said. Ellie groaned then walked away. "I'm so sorry! I cannot believe they would do that! It's so stereotypical!" Lee said "Yeah, it is! I'm Kayla by the way." Kayla said "Oh, and I'm Max!" Max said. "Nice to meet you guys! I'm Vee" Vee said "Yeah! I'm Lee, but I'm sure you already know that."
