The next day, the ninja and Nya were flying in the Bounty.

"Trying to find out the Samurai's identity is more of a nuisance than the snakes," Cole complained. "Any luck with you?"

"The guy's elusive," Jay replied. "He's like a ghost. One moment he's there, the next he's gone."

"I am starting to believe we might never catch him," Zane said, sounding disheartened.

"I think it's safe to say, none of us are closer to proving we're the Green Ninja," Kai added, his frustration evident.

Wu entered the room, sensing their dismay. "Looks like iron is sharpening iron. I feel you are getting closer to your True Potential." He lightly squeezed Cole's arm, causing Cole to wince.

"Ow!" Cole exclaimed.

"Where is Lloyd and Anna?" Wu asked. "I thought you were looking after them."

Kai responded, "I thought Cole was going to pick them up."

"I went to the arcade, but they weren't there," Cole explained. "Jay was—"

"Don't bring me into this. I babysat yesterday," Jay interrupted.

"Sensei, we have not seen them," Zane said, trying to offer clarity.

Wu's expression grew serious. "We must find them. I don't know about Lloyd, but there's no telling what Anna is up to."

-

They arrived near the arcade, and Kai called out, "Lloyd? Anna? They were right here. Someone must have seen them."

Cole's eyes caught a security camera. "Hey, guys. Check this out." They gathered around and watched the footage.

"Wait, wait, there's the pipsqueaks'," Jay said. "Play that back." They saw Anna and Lloyd buying snake disguises and then walking away. "What are they up to?"

The group headed back to where the kids had been.

Zane examined the ground. "I sense these are their footprints, but they come to an end here. Why?"

Kai, with a hint of determination, said, "Something tells me we're going for a ride. Come on, boys." They set off, heading towards the City of Ouroboros.

-

Cole looked around, confused. "What is that place?"

Jay squinted ahead. "Looks like snake city."

Kai nodded. "Let's get a closer look."

Zane observed the scene. "It appears Pythor has successfully united all of the tribes."

Cole sighed. "I know we ruined their last get-together, but that's no reason to not get an invitation. My feelings are hurt."

Kai pointed. "There's the kids." Lloyd and Anna were trapped in a cage.

Jay's eyes widened. "Whoa. And look at who they worship."

Cole smirked. "Let me guess: the Great Devourer."

Kai's face hardened. "All the more reason to get them out of here. This comes to an end today." They dashed forward but ran straight into a trap. A cage dropped over them, and their golden weapons clattered to the ground.

Lloyd gasped. "The ninja."

Anna sighed. "They will never reach their full potential. Looks like we have to get ourselves out of here."

Pythor appeared with a sinister grin. "Looks like we've caught the main event." He laughed as the ninja were brought into the arena.

Jay frowned. "Main event? What do you think he meant by 'main event'?"
