I had gotten home late that night in my oversized apartment where all my art laid presented pushed everywhere as brushes rolled on the floor.

I tossing my bag to the side resting my keys on the kitchen counter fighting to get my shoes off along with my coat. Bits of her smell lingered on me giving me a smile.

I pressed one particular piece of my coat to my nose as it smelt exactly like her. My body jumped hearing the sounds of my phone as it rang.

I looked at the coat confusingly throwing it aside over my couch. I sighed raising it above my ear," Hello?" I answered.

"For fuck sakes!" I was greeted by Constant with her roaring loud voice through the phone. I brushed my hair back entering my kitchen opening my fridge to feel the stinging lights hit my eyes.

"Constants."

"I was so worried about you bitch, I even called the exposition." I chuckled to myself grabbing an untouched wine bottle from it.

"I wasn't gone that long, was I?" I said confused myself as I opened it grabbing a glass.

I hadn't drunken this much afters my mother funeral partially the whole reason I stoped in the first place.

"No, and yes! It's been 3 hours and it's 4 in the morning!"

As she lectured I began my long journey of downing my glass of wine trying to forget this night as it was filled with accompaniments and recognition, but also the dowsing headache of someone I couldn't forget.

Isn't this how every love story I read goes, as I always hated the character for falling for the same cliche.

"Juliet? Juliet are you even listening to me?"She screamed again.

I cleared my throat placing the glass down my sink and the half empty wine bottle back into my fridge as I diverted myself back into my very messy art living room which faced the city lights.

"We sold a lot tonight." I said distracting the conversation.

She must've realized as she made a long groan,"Did it work out." She took another sigh.

"Perfectly his photos sold in seconds along with the painting I made with the little detour you took me on to, Italy." I smiled congratulating her on the 1/2 work that she helped with.

I was stuck and when I was near to giving up Constant helped she pushed like no other, she was like my sister just not by blood.

"I told you Gavin would be good." She said excitedly.

Gavin was an up and coming model she met at one of she designer meeting of her academies and introduced us later down the line, only to find Gavin's brother is apart of the syndicate as a standing guard.

While my father was one of the syndicates leaders and participate we would've ran into each other inevitably, "You were right, as always."

I bite the urges to tell her about tonight about the girl I met growing a little irritated she didn't ask sooner.

"Who's the person who took you out~" she sang teasing me a little, right as I was about to go on my little crush rant my fathers email jumped up on my open laptop screen.
