I changed in my fathers office that inevitably became mines after becoming a member of the syndicate.

I continually thought of Juliet her embarrassed expressions and red blush over her face when met with something unexpected arising maybe.

"Stay away from, Juliet!" Gavin hurled himself into my office his fist at his side obvious anger over his face, as I buttoned up my final buttons of my shirt.

"Nice to you see you to cousin." I said watching as my distort men rushed behind of him obviously conflicted on taking him.

"Ma'am.." one started.

"Don't bother, both of you can leave."

"I gave you Victoria, for whatever sick game you and Rain had planned.... for reassurance my family and friends would be safe in what was to come." He demanded.

"Friends, cousin your merely nothing that just a canvas....a idea in her portraits." I went behind my desk focusing on the piles of paper's scattered.

"Stay the fuck away from her."

I raised my eyes up to him a bit taken aback he knew how easily it was for me to kill him, destroy his family legacy as they did my fathers yet he did all of this for a girl that wasn't even apart of it.

"Keep Victoria shes..., more vulnerable stupid even-"

I cut him off." Maybe I needed someone smart, has the same anger towards my enemies or get me closer to the ones I want the most,"

"Or I simply  just like her presence around me this desiring thoughts that I have about her."

His jaws clenched seems I just aggravated him further,

"She's good, smart she will see through your lies, and when you do finally like her even just an ounce...."

He stepped forward.

"She will resent you, see the true monster you are know you will not be able to hide the monster the syndicate caused, her father caused."

My hands gripped firmly over my chair back as I brushed my finger tips over my chair releasing it, anger her father caused? this was anger everyone caused.

"Well, cousin," I buttoned the coast of my suit,

"We both have a busy day ahead of us, and I have a favor to ask," I grinned.

"No,...No you see that's not for you to worry about or handle, look into Constant her friend Im thinking."

I placed my hand over his shoulder my lips almost close his ears so he could've hear my whispers,

"You ever barge into my office again uninvited or unrequested with the simplest of threatening or speaking of things unbeknownst to my sister and   I including the ones I let around me,"
