Chapter 3

3 weeks later....

"Her eyes are like crystal streams, flowing over diamond waterfalls. Her hair is like-"

"Please, stop singing Maggie."

"But Bethany, Heartbeat's new song is just so amazing. Plus Logan said that he wrote it about one of his fans."

"That's probably just a lie."

"But-"

Heartbeat had just released their newest song "You're So Beautiful", and I was already sick of it. The lead singer, Logan, claimed that it was about one of their fans, but I new that it was a lie. I tried to convince Maggie of this, but she just would not listen.

1 year later....

"I cannot believe that I am doing this again."

"Remember Bethany, I'm paying you another hundred dollars this time, so don't complain."

Maggie's parents had bought her tickets to a Heartbeat concert again this year, and she was paying me to go with her again. We were driving there right now. Somehow I'd ended up wearing almost the exact same outfit as the one, that I wore last time.

We entered the building where Heartbeat was playing, and I sighed as I saw the mass of teenage girls pushing their way to their seats. Maggie's parents had actually gotten her pretty good seats this time. We were about eleven rows back from the stage. Of course, I knew from the last time that everyone would be standing, and dancing, as soon as Heartbeat started singing. It was just as I had expected it to be for the first part, but then something strange happened.

Logan, the lead singer of the group, leaned over to one of the other members of Heartbeat, and whispered in his ear. Then he turned back around, and spoke to the whole audience.

"For this next song, I'm going to need someone from the audience to come up here, and dance with me."

The whole audience immediately irrupted into cheering, and screaming, and I just rolled my eyes, and crossed my arms.

"Let's get you to come up here." Logan said, as he pointed at a random girl in the audience.

Everyone in the audience turned to stare at, who they probably thought was the "lucky" girl. I just gasped, because Logan was pointing directly at me.
