Jasmine's POV
I'm now turning 14 in September. When I was 9, my mom had my little brother, Sean. He's now five and going to 'YouTube Elementary' in the 1st grade. I'm moving up and going to 'Young YouTube High School'. I'm now a 9th grader. My parents say I can now date. They say they have gone through a lot to get me here. Safe. I don't know what that means, but ok.
Today is my first day.
"Have a good day sweetie."
"Thanks mom. She hugs me tightly."
"Don't get into trouble Sean."
"I won't daddy." We all knew that was a lie. He gave him a hug.
His eyes met mine. "My baby girl is growing up."
"Daad!" I rolled my eyes playfully.
"I'm sorry. Don't rush into dating either. Tell me if someone hurts you ok?"
"Yes sir. I will."
"Ok." He gave me a long hug. "Love you Jasmine."
"Love you too dad."
After my brother talked to mom, we went to the bus stop and got on the bus. All the schools are together. We both got off the bus. I messed up his ginger hair.
"Jasmine!?" I laughed.
"Sorry Sean. Well Good luck in school."
"You too Jasmine. And remember what daddy said no boys."
"Yes I know. Later."
"Bye."
I hoped whatever high school had in store for me was going to be mostly good.
