[Remastered] Chapter 1: Rise of the King of Curses

It was now Saturday, Y/n was seen waiting at the mall for Mina as he watched a bunch of people walking by him.

Y/n: Where the heck is she?

???: Take a flyer...

Y/n turns to see a woman in a devil costume holding out a flyer toward him.

Y/n: Oh sure...

Y/n took the flyer as the woman smiled before walking off. Y/n's phone began going off as he answered a call from Mina.

Y/n: Hello?

Mina: Hey, Y/n. Sorry, but I won't be able to show up. My eyes have been acting weird lately.

Y/n: it's no problem. Try to rest up.

Mina: Thanks but, this doesn't change our plan. You still need to follow Issei and see what happens.

Y/n: Do I have to?

Mina: Please...For me?

Y/n: Mmm...Fine.

Mina: Great! Thank you, Y/n!

Y/n: Yeah Yeah. I'll see you later.

Y/n hung up before walking to the center plaza to find Issei and Yuma talking with each other. He later follows the two as they went around the plaza to different shops.

After sundown, The two were seen in the park as Y/n followed closely behind them.

Yumma: I had such a fun day today Issei so I would like to ask you something to end it perfectly.

Issei: Sure, Yuma. What is it?

Yuma: Will you die for me?

Y/n: What?

Issei: I'm sorry, Yuma, but I don't think I heard you properly. Could you repeat that? 

Yuma: I said...Will you die for me?!

Yuma began to physically change in front of Issei as black bird-like wings came from her back before her outfit changed to a new set of revealing clothes.

Issei: Yuma?

Yuma: I'm sorry, Hyoudou but it's nothing personal. Fate seems to be cruel to you.

Issei: Wha...

Issei was cut off when Yuma threw a pink spear of light at him as it impaled his gut.

Y/n: What the hell...

???: Seems you have gotten sloppy, Raynare. You were followed.

Y/n felt something pierce through his stomach as he looked down to see a blue spear of light in his stomach. Y/n fell to the ground as a middle-aged-looking man stepped over his body walking to Yuma.

Raynare: Wasn't my fault, Dohnaseek. I couldn't sense the boy's presence.

Dohnaseek: Then it was a good thing I was overseeing.

Y/n: Who...the hell...are you...?

Raynare: We're none of your business, boy. You should stay out of things that don't concern you.

Y/n fell down as his blood pooled around him as he looked up to the sky.

Y/n: Mother...

Dohnaseek: So that's step one to the plan complete. Now what?

Raynare: Now, we wait for the girl.

???: My poor boy...

Raynare and Dohnaseek were shocked at the new voice as they turned to see Alexandra standing over Y/n's body before crouching down.
