In the world where everyone born with a name on their right wrist, Sky still don't believe in soulmates. This is one of the first thing children ask their parents. "Mom, Dad what is it?" They ask all the time. And most of the parents just say this: "Baby that's the name of your soulmate. Later you can learn how to read it and soon you find each others." And they usually daydreaming of that moment a lot. Sky was also excited to learn how to read his soulmate's name.

But then everything went wrong. Their parents got a divorce, even though they were each other's soulmate, and Sky stayed with his dad. He didn't understand it. Their parents just told him sometimes being each other's soulmate is not enough. Since then he is a bit less excited about his soulmate than he was before. But still believing in soulmate in general who love each other till death do them apart.

Years later he was already learned write and read so he can managed to read the name on his wrist. Since then he thinks this is his favourite name. He become excited again. Always think of the time they will meet and look in each other's eyes and they will know it without checking what's written on each other's wrist. He saw it sometimes in a mall or on a street and it was always so special. Until one day his classmates start to call him a missmatch. Oh boy he didn't know it. He was so clueless. His father wanted to protect him of the disappointment until he can. The name on his wrist was written in crimson red. He always thought the colors are not important, that they have no meaning. He was so wrong about it.

His father regret his decision so much, that he didn't tell him sooner, when he got a call from school that his always so good and behaving boy hit at least 3 of his classmates. Sky was just a bit older than twelve that time and cried his eyes out. His father rushed to the school and he didn't have a heart to blame his son. Felt so bad and guilty. He never wanted to be the one who crush his son's dream to have a loving soulmate, but he regret the way he got to know it.

He and his wife was arguing about it a lot. They couldn't decide who should tell him and when. His wife always insisted to tell him but she didn't want to be the one who do this. He on the other hand wanted to keep him in his carefree childhood until he can without telling him about the meaning of the colors. He told his wife "If I have to be the one who tell him I choose the time." and his wife just answered that "Fine. Then you will be the one who got the blame and you will see him suffer because of your stupidity." It wouldn't been more than a year and they completely drifted apart till they filed the divorce and go on on different paths. She still managed to met Sky though. At first 3 times a week than more and more rarely.

When they arrived home from school that day, Sky run to his room and slamed the door with a loud bang. His father knocked on his door and said "Sky, Honey can we talk about what happened today in school? Please." At first he didn't reply because he was so angry but later he just shouted to his father from the other side of the door like "I hate you dad. I hate you and mom so much. Why didn't you told me anything about the colors? Everyone in school was laughing at me because I am a missmatch." He was crying so bad and felt like someone just ripped his heart out of his chest. It was physically pained him. They took away from him the chance of love, the fated and sweet love and he wanted it back.

"Can I come in Honey?" asked his father gently and since there was no answer he tried to turn the handle, it wasn't locked, so he go into the room. Sky didn't tell him to go away and that was a good sign. "Sorry Dear. I wanted to protect you from feeling this. I know I should have told you sooner. I wanted you to be happy for a bit more. I'm sorry." He still cried so bad that he didn't even see trough the curtain of his tears. If he could he would see the pain and regret on his father's face. The inability to help his sweet and innocent child was killing him. He would give his life to the devil if that means he can change the color of that damn name, but he couldn't and he felt so helpless. "I tell you everything you want to know. No more lies." That was the only thing he could promise him. The truth.
