It's been weeks since Tsuki started taking care of Kaiyo. Weeks since Kaiyo lost his mother. Weeks since Kaiyo last felt something.
"What do you mean avenge my mother?"Kaiyo asked.
"I know who killed her, you do too." Tsuki replied, "The Emperor"
My father. She didn't mention that, she didn't know how he'd react to it, but she knew it was only a matter of time before he'd find out. After all, the very symbol on the pin Kaiyo found at the scene of his mothers death was engraved at the base of her spine.
Kaiyo didn't reply, he stared blankly at the wall. He needed her help, she was strong, he could tell. He needed her help to get to the Emperor, how he'd kill him, Kaiyo didn't know.
"Do you know what the Jang-Si tournament is?", Tsuki asked.
Of course he did. Everyone alive on the planet knew what it was. The strongest people alive competed there before the three rulers. Who were they? Well, the strongest people alive, and one of them is responsible for the death of Kaiyos' mother.
"It holds in about 7 months" Tsuki continued, "And the Emperor will be there"
Kaiyo wasn't stupid, he knew what Tsuki meant. He saw the look in her eyes when she talked about the Emperor. Rage. Tsuki wanted revenge as much as he did, but he didn't know what for. She wanted to kill him, and she didn't care what would happen to her after. The entire force of the Dominion would be there, and Tsuki needed a distraction while she killed the Emperor.
"You're prepared to die, just to kill him?" Kaiyo asked.
The anger in her eyes didn't fade when she smiled and said, "Don't tell me you're worried about me?"
Kaiyo didn't answer, he just stood up and left the house.

Kaiyo sat on the roof of a building looking into the moon. He didn't have an expression on his face. He didn't think of anything, he just looked and found peace. One thing about darkness is that it doesn't exist where there is light, and it doesn't exist in the hearts of men. Kaiyo could see it ever since he was a child, how truly disgusting the hearts of humans were.
This ability to sense darkness enabled Kaiyo to hone his senses the older he grew. So you could tell he was surprised when he looked to his left and saw a figure seated next to him. Kaiyo didn't sense a thing from him, not a single speck of darkness existed within the heart of this man.
"Maybe he's a saint", Kaiyo thought to himself. He didn't care, maybe he was seeing things. He stood up and turned his back to the figure and that was when it hit him.
Kaiyo dropped to his knees, he couldn't move, he couldn't speak. He felt paralyzed, blood rushed from his mouth and his insides felt like they exploded. In truth nothing was wrong with his body, Kaiyo knew this too, he stood up slowly and turned to the figure that sat next to him. He was in a hood, and was slowly bringing it down, he turned his head and Kaiyo stared into what would be the scariest look he'd ever seen. The mans face was cold, yet he was smiling. The blood red eyes stared and Kaiyo stared right back. Kaiyo was overwhelmed by the darkness that pulsated from this man.
The man walked up to Kaiyo and said,
"I'm Samael, it's a pleasure to meet you".
It might have been instinct or maybe he suddenly couldn't control his body but Kaiyo jerked back and jumped over to the wall before this man could touch him. Blood trickled from Kaiyos eyes now. He was overwhelmed, this man was darkness impersonified. He knelt again with his arm on his head and closed his eyes. He waited a few seconds and opened them again. He was seated where he was looking at the moon, and no one was next to him.

Tsuki laid down on the floor of an empty house, she needed to leave this village, but she needed Kaiyo to come with her. It has been years since she set out for her revenge. Her plan had always been the same, to find the "Ghost and Earth". She didn't know who they were, but she needed them to be able to participate in the Jang-Si tournament. About a year ago, she found out that they were in a Temple in the West. And she was on her way there when she saw the explosion.
She rolled over, and when she did she was looking into bloodshot eyes at the corner of her room. Tsuki couldn't sense darkness, but somehow she knew that the man that she was looking at was danger. In a flash, she zipped across the room and threw a punch at the place he sat, the force of the punch destroyed the wall. When the dust cleared, no one was there. She looked straight forward and saw the man standing in the fields laughing.
She went again, this time she zipped and attempted grabbing his neck, but she passed right through. Twisting her body sideways, she attempted to kick him, but before her leg connected with his face, she froze. She suddenly felt like her whole body was on fire. She collapsed to the ground gasping for air. Tsuki didn't know what was happening and then
There was a hole through her chest.

Tsuki opened her eyes and gasped for air, she was sweating and in pain, she looked down and saw that there was no hole in her chest. She was still in the same spot she laid earlier. She turned and gasped in surprise when she saw the wall was destroyed. When she did, every bone in her body shivered, she got up and ran to the bowl at the corner of the room wrenching her guts out. For the first time in a very long time, Tsuki was afraid for her life.
She needed to leave. Now.
