Smoky Mountains
Klaus, Amber, and Stefan are walking in the mountains. Stefan is carrying Ray, unconscious, on his shoulders. "You okay? Is Ray getting heavy?" Klaus taunts making Amber roll her eyes.
"I'm fine," Stefan grunts.
"You sure about that? You know, we've been walking for quite some time now. If you need some water or a little sit-down..." Klaus trails off.
Stefan scoffs, "You know, I get that we're, uh...we're stuck together, but if we could maybe just skip the chitchat, it'd be great."
"So much brooding. Your self-loathing is suffocating you, my friend."
"Maybe it's 'cause I'm a little tired of hunting werewolves. We've been at it all summer."
"And it's hot and you two arguing is still getting us nowhere, so kindly shut up!" Amber scoffs, walking ahead of them.
"Well, that's not nice, love."
"How many times have I told you not to call me that?" Amber grits her teeth.
"Thanks to our pal Ray, we found ourselves a pack. There." Klaus ignores the girl and points at the wolf pack.
Stefan enters their camp. Everyone looks at him. He puts Ray on the ground. A woman rushes over to him, "Ray! Oh my god! What's going on? Who are you?" The woman growls.
Amber steps beside Stefan, looking at the girl emotionless, "Wrong question."
Klaus then comes into view, his hand on Amber's lower back, "The important question is who am I? Please forgive the intrusion. My name is Klaus."
"You're the hybrid." The woman gasps.
Klaus smirks, "You've heard of me. Fantastic."
Mystic Grill
Inside the Grill, Elena is talking with Tyler and Josh at a table. Alaric looks at them from the bar, "A lot of us like to keep to ourselves for the full moon, chain ourselves up. But some werewolves like to gather in places where they don't have to do that, where they can enjoy it." Tyler reluctantly tells the Gilbert girl.
