Serenade of Innocence

In the realm where hearts first learn to soar,
Where innocence blooms, like never before,
I pen a poem to my first love's grace,
A melody of sweet memories, time can't erase.

Within young hearts, emotions ignite,
Like butterflies dancing in golden sunlight.
A tender seed planted, love's delicate start,
Unfolding petals of an innocent heart.

The whispers of affection, shy and new,
Like gentle breezes that softly blew,
In secret glances, our souls would meet,
An enchanting dance, so delicate and sweet.

Through every stolen glance and stolen touch,
We discovered love's power, oh so much.
A symphony of emotions, unspoken yet heard,
An unbreakable bond, forged by each word.

With bated breath, I wrote you letters anew,
Confessions inked in shades of love so true.
Each word a testament to a love untamed,
Embracing our youth, forever unashamed.

The world seemed brighter, days filled with glee,
As we reveled in love's pure ecstasy.
Time stood still when we held each other near,
As if the universe whispered, "true love is here."

Yet, as seasons changed, so did we,
Branches of life's tree reached outward, free.
Different paths called us, fate's separate way,
But the memories of first love forever will stay.

So, in this ode to my first love's embrace,
I cherish the moments, the love, and the chase.
For you will forever hold a place in my heart,
The beacon of love that ignited from the start.

May life's journey bring you love anew,
And may happiness always find its way to you.
But remember, deep within these words I write,
A first love's flame still flickers, burning bright.
