Ellie and Pete had been walking around the adoption fair for about an hour now and all of the kids were playing with other couples wanting to adopt, and all the older kids were being ignored like one of the worker said ' no one ever wants to adopt a teenager ' .
Ellie was giving up but Pete was pushing her, wanting to talk to the older kids but Ellie stopped him .
About 20 kids between 14 and 18 sat down on the stone steps .
' Pete they are teenagers you know what thats means ?? Hummm it means crazy crazy crazy kids with their beers and their drugs being horny and reckless and climbing out of their window every night and then 2 weeks later they say that they're pregnant or got someone pregnant and i am not here for a child and a grandchild okay just one kid . ' Ellie said a bit too loud .
' Hey umm yeah just so you know we can all hear you right ?? You know the drugs, beers, pregnancies and the umm crazy reckless shit. ' A Brown haired girl said standing up from the step she was sat on, before sitting back down and talking to her little sister .
Ellie walked away embarrassed but Pete looked at the outspoken girl smiling seeing his younger self in the girl before walking to his wife and getting in their car .
