Alexander Read and Lacey Black

Power Realized, Blood on his Hands.

"Hey you guys, I have to go." I said, grabbing my bag. Quickly giving Lacey's bag to her.

"Woah woah- dude what's up? What happened?" Tobias asked me, grabbing my arm.

I slowly turned and looked at him with desperate and almost tearing up eyes. I was in a hurry, I didn't know what to do.

"Alex.. are you really ok?" He asked me, and held my forearm.

I showed him my phone and he saw the call list, and his face began to look worried as well.

"Guys. we've got a problem.." Tobias said, as he held my phone up to the rest of the group.

"A-Alex, your mom called you 40 times.. Did you get in trouble or-?" Naomi stopped as she stared at my face in disbelief.

"You have no clue what's going on do you?" Lacey asked me, as she put her hand on my face.

I nodded, as I blinked and a couple tears came out.

"You're thinking about this too negatively, let's go. Where's your house? Cody, can you ask the cashier to call the cops? Stay here till they get here ok?" I'll text you the address." Eli explained, putting some kind of yellow disk around his finger.

All of a sudden his power began to form around himself, and his hair was now completely yellow and sparking with white lighting.

"An Elemental form.." I said, in confusion and surprise.

"There's no time! Let's find your mom, she could be in danger!" Lacey said, grabbing my hand as we ran out the store.

Everyone else joined in exactly for Cody, he stayed inside and started talking to the only worker in that store.

"We're just up the hill, he's next to my house." Lacey shouted as we ran out of the store to the sidewalks, and ran up the hill as quickly as possible.

We reached the street where the lights were and noticed cop cars all over the place, even swat cars.

"What on earth is happening here?" Eli said, going in front of us, running out to one of the cars. Tobias followed him and they hid on the side of it.

We then heard distant gunshots around the same area me and Lacey's houses were.

"Mom!" I shouted, as I ran after my house as quickly as I could. Hoping that mother wasn't shot, or even hurt at all.

"Alex! Where are you going!" Naomi shouted at me.

"A-ALEX! PLEASE DON'T LEAVE.. PLEASE DON'T GO!" I heard Lacey shout after me.

I didn't care, my only concern was my family. My feelings were across my mind, what they get caught or shot as well. What if my mom had been harmed. What would I do?

I saw blue and red lights around my house, and started to feel anger inside of me.

I hid behind a nearby bush in order to catch my breath before appearing, but I peaked a few looks.

"Listen, we just want to know where the kid is. That's all?" I heard a man say, he seemed middle aged.

"And I told you, that's my son. Why would I give you my son's location when you bring out armed men, and so many cars and swat cars. Don't think I didn't realize you're uniform either, you work for the Mana Clan, you recruit mutants that haven't yet realized their powers.." She said, clearly worried about my safety.
