The Weirdest News.
"So he's a claw like you." I heard a mysterious voice say.
I opened my eyes to what seems like a white room, as well as
"Indeed, but I think he's Type A." I heard Lacey say.
Everything sounded kinda ringy, as if I had been in a coma of some sort. I can hear, but very muffled. As if to make matters worse, I can barely see. I can only see a little bit, everything else is blurry.
"If it's true that he has three claws, it's possible that he could heal faster than any claw that's alive right now." I heard the mysterious voice say again.
She sounds important, that and I at least assumed it was a female. Didn't sound like any guy I ever knew of.
"I hope he's doing ok.. That guy didn't need to shoot him so many times. That could really hurt someone even if they are a claw." Lacey said, with a more worried voice.
"He healed. In fact the doctors didn't even need to do anything, it's simple actually. His blood type is what worries me. Apparently he has the genes of The Shadow Claw's leader himself."
The voice said, and the name she suggested gave me chills.
But she had been right, my dad's the Shadow Claw's leader, a huge mutant organization that eliminates evil. More like mercenaries, i've seen it done on TV.
"Is it true that they killed 1000 people in 50 minutes? If that's true he could be a soldier.. W-wait what am I talking about. He stays with me and the other kids that came in here with me. Please, he can't go anywhere, we'd feel better knowing he's with me- I mean us." She said, stuttering.
"What do you mean by that? Lacey Black." The odd voice said in a concerned voice.
"J-Just nothing! I just thought that it would be safe if he had been with us." Lacey said, quickly adjusting her voice to a more serious tone.
"A-as for that man that shot him, what's his deal?" Lacey asked her in a more worried tone.
"He hunts down Claws, and other healing mutants. He doesn't want to harm them but he will do what he must." The lady explains to her.
Guess that explains the whole chill act the dude had, although he did shoot me quite a bit. Even though i'm ok it's still hard to believe I could even be shot so many times without backing down.
I started moving my arms which had been harder than I expected. I got my arm up just an inch above where it first was and all of a sudden a loud ringing noise came on. But it lasted for only one second.
In that second, a big red light appeared all around me. It was odd, i'm glad I can still see color otherwise i'd be screwed.
Starting to hear footsteps I imminently put my arm down, putting at back how terrified I was.
"Alex!" I heard Lacey scream as something was pulled over around me.
"O-oh... something went off in here. But what exactly.." I heard the voice say.
"D-do you think he got hurt in some way." Lacey asked, as she touched my arm.
"Why do you.. Keep thinking i'm hurt. I'm not.." I said out loud.
Both of them gasped and didn't say another word.
Oops... I was supposed to say that in my head.
"A-Alex! Is that actually you.." Lacey screamed as she tugged on my arm.
"C-Can you stop pulling on me.." I said, slowly feeling my arm get more and more painful.
"S-sorry!" She said, as she stopped and put her hands on whatever I had been laying on.
All of a sudden, I was able to see the clearing again. Slowly but surely, my sight came back to me.
"Is your vision better Alex?" I heard the woman say.
Turns out it was a female, but where was I exactly?
"You're in a mutant Mona. It's the only place mutants can get generally great service in terms of Damage to their bodies." The woman said.
"I-I see.." I said nervously.
Did she just read my mind?
"Yes. I did, i'm a special type of Zomga and Elemental. I can read minds and know your exact movements." She said, crossing her arms.
Her clothing was sort of odd, she had on a usual doctor's outfit. White pants, gray shirt with a thin white coat over it. And her pale skin matched her brown hair very well.
"So, can we discuss matters now, Lacey?" She said, now turning her whole body towards Lacey.
"Let's discuss it later, i'll tell him about it soon." Lacey said, taking glances at me while smiling at the lady.
In return, the lady nodded and gave some kind of syringe to Lacey, and she put it in her pocket.
I sighed, and looked around and peaked under the cover I had been in.
I had unusual clothing on, but it seemed to fit me nicely. I had on white jeans, with a white beater for a shirt that wasn't dirty.
"So am I supposed to be wearing this shirt?" I asked foolishly not knowing where I am still.
"I gave you that.. I thought you looked ok in it so.." Lacey said as she held out her hand.
"We need to discuss something. But first let's have a walk." She said looking worried, yet she seemed sort of happy. Like she had been hiding something but wasn't gonna be dangerous towards me.
"Uh.. Sure... but wait, is my mom ok?" I asked them, trying to move my legs from the bed.
I ended up only being able to move slightly before getting knocked back down by some forcefield energy.
"Your mom is fine, she actually told us herself that you shouldn't worry about her. At all..." The women said, putting her fingers to my legs.
Out of nowhere, I felt a big shock in both my legs. And it shot me right up out of bed onto the floor. Hitting myself, landing on a few tables.
"Auughh... That didn't feel so good." I said, getting up from the mess I just made.
"Curious.. You are a springy thing aren't you.." The lady said.
"Geez.. just who the heck are you?" I said, walking perfectly fine now. Not that I minded it. I totally forgot what happened a few what feels like moments ago.
"Ahh, you don't remember? I'm the person you stabbed." She said, smiling at me as she sat down on the bed.
My mouth agape and I was very confused. So many things are happening at worst. But I can take this, nothing can get worse than what's going on right now.
"I'm also gonna be one of the future wives of Alexander Read." She said, giving me the most warming smile in the entire world.
"I-I'm sorry.. What?!" I said, looking at Lacey with a surprised expression almost wanting to run away.
Yup.. I spoke too soon things definitely got worse..
