It's been 3 Years Both Yami and Kid have turned 18. During these past 3 years Yami and Kid have become best friends.
By them being friends Yami started to train Kid getting kid to the Strength and Magic power of an S rank Adventurer. Also evolved his Metal Magic into Magnet Magic.
Yami and Kid eventually learned about a School to teach people of the age 18-22 on how to use magic. By Yami and Kid both being Adventurers they know how to use magic already but they are going to the school for one reason.
A good fight
"OH SHIT!!" Yami yells walking through the village out of nowhere "DONT FUCKING YELL LIKE THAT, WHAT HAPPENED." Kid asks VERY irritated. "We got to get to the capital that school has the entrance exams in 5 days."
"So what's the problem for normal people the trip to the capital would be 1 week. We Are Not Normal. No point in stressing we gonna make it."
"Yea i guess you're right, but let's start making our way to the capital." Yami says turning in the direction of the capital not letting Kid respond.
"So i have no say in the matter." Kid says to Yami's figure shrinking in the distance "I guess i don't." Kid starts running after Yami yelling "Wait for me".
3 Day Timeskip
Kid and Yami make it to the Capital in half the time. "Wooow this is the capital I never thought I would see it." Yami says in awe.
"LOOK AT THAT BIG ASS CASTLE, YOU THINK THE KING IS IN THERE??"
"Well no shit you metal head, who else is in the castle."
"I didn't ask for your disrespect you wannabe blacksmith."
After a few minutes of them going back and forth they begin exploring the Capital for the next 2 days.
TimeSkip
It's now the day of the entrance exams and as Yami and Kid are walking into the exam site a Noble bumps into Kid purposely and starts laughing saying "Commoner Trash."
Kid is about to attack the piece of shit with his magic. "Magnet Magic: Iron-"
Before he could finish the spell Yami grabs him by the shoulders and says
"Unlike you i have been sensing everyone's magic levels and from that nobles level he is only C rank, if you attack him he will die."
"That's the point Yami to kill him."
"Kid me and you both know making enemies with nobles right now is not a good idea."
Kid then remembers what Yami said earlier "Since you have been sensing everyones magic is there any S rank levels here?"
"There is a few they could give you a challenge." Kid after hearing this smirks but with all their talking they didn't notice they made it to the exam site.
"Alright future students lets start the exams to register what classes you will be in you will display one of your magic abilities to us."
"But for safety reasons we will be separating you into different groups for different sites everyone follow your respective proctor."
As Kid and Yami makes it to the site with a few other people nobles and commoners. Yami stretches out his senses and says "I guess none of those other S rank levels are with us at this site."
"For your testing for class placement all you are doing is shooting this Magic reinforced wall with whatever attack you want."
Everyone one by one starts hitting the wall with second to last the Proctor calls up Kid's name as he steps up he says "I'll show you shitty nobles why commoners are better."
"Magnet Magic: Iron Sand Coffin!" When Kid says this small pieces of iron starts to come out of the ground then all of a sudden a wave of small sand sized pieces of iron shoots out the ground swallowing the wall in Iron crushing it.
Everyone except Yami looks in awe at the attack kid just pulled off . The Proctor still stunned says "Eustass Kid S Class. Would Yami please come forward."
Yami and Kid pass each other Kid giving Yami a look saying try and do better, Yami noticed this and smile.
"Weapon creation magic: Starrk" When he says this a gun appears in his hand he aims it at the wall and says "This is true power. Cero Metralleta."
When the beam fires off it completely erases the wall in its entirety. After that display of power he turns to see half the students passed out and others looking in fear or shock but in Kid's case he is just laughing.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAH WHAT GAVE YOU THE BRIGHT IDEA TO DISPLAY THAT MUCH POWER!!"
"I kinda got caught into the moment 😅." Yami says with a sweat drop.
"Yami S Class. Alright children we will see you tomorrow in your respective classes have a nice rest of your day.
