The first of the disowned

*Percy*

I slowly poored water onto Sarah's wound. It didn't heal. My dad wouldn't claim a fake, would he? I looked at Sarah and she had a guilty look on her face.

"um, Percy?" Sarah said.

"yeah?"

"I have to tell you something."

I slowly pulled Riptide out of my pocket, just incase.

"Okay Sarah, go ahead and tell me"

"well you............"

At that point Sarah started shaking. I grabbed her to calm her down, but she was burning hot.

"Grover!!!!! Get your butt in here and help me!" I yelled at Grover.

Grover ran in and said, "I'll have to call Apollo!"

"No need, I'm here!" Apollo said.

Apollo checked over Sarah and put her to sleep.

"She was talking to Posidion." Apollo said.

"Indeed she was." Posidion said, stepping out from behind a curtain."Due to a new law the powerful gods/godesses take away one power from each child, to keep the balance." "Percy I took your ability to freeze water, and I took Sarah's ability to heal in water."

"But................" I started.

"Apollo, Zeus has called an emergancy meeting. We must go." Posidion interapted.

Grumbling, Apollo got up and flashed out with Posidion.

"Man," Grover said,"I would hate to be a demigod right now" I glared at him and then he said "Oh, to soon?"

*Annabeth*

I was waiting for Percy and Grover to finish helping Sarah. I finally just got bored and walked in.

"Hey Percy," I said. "was that just Poseidon to Apollo I thought I saw bright flash."

"yeah, Apollo was here to help heal Sarah, and Poseidon was here to tell me about the one power taken away rule." Percy said.

"

What one power tacken away rule?" I asked. It was killing me that I didn't know what it was.

"Aparentley some demigods are too powerful and have to be restrained." he answered. "Me and Sarah are some for example."

"What did Posidion take from you?"

"My ice powers."

"But you just learned you had them!"

"Ow...." a weak voice said from the bed.

"Sarah, are you okay?" Percy asked.

"Yeah I'm fine, just a headache."

"You where going to tell me something?" Percy said.

"It's not important" She said.

All the sudden I heard a chorus of demigods scream "I hate you!" I ran out side with Percy and Sarah close behind. Campers where screaming at there godly parent as one by one they disowned there children. After about 8 demigods where disowned gods started flashing away.

'"Um, Percy?" Sarah sounded anxcious.

"Yes Sarah?" Percy said.

"This is what I was going to tell you about."
