Claude's entrance into the hotel room was met with a mixture of surprise and curiosity from Aurora. She had been lost in thought, contemplating the recent events, when Claude's demeanor caught her attention.Aurora was as beautiful as ever as she stood in front of moonlight in their giant hotel windows , she was dress in a long shear gown that flowed effortlessly. Aurora has a penchant for garments that capture the essence of both her immortal nature and her connection to the human world, often adorned with intricate details and fabrics that shimmer like starlight.

"Claude, what's wrong?" Aurora's voice carried a note of concern as she observed his pensive expression.

Claude took a deep breath, his gaze meeting Aurora's as he struggled to find the right words. "Aurora, I... I had a conversation with Marius. He... he has reservations about our plans for revenge."

Aurora's eyes widened in shock, her heart racing as she absorbed the information. "Marius? How do you know Marius? What else do you know that I don't?"

Claude hesitated, his features reflecting the weight of his disclosure. "Aurora, I know more about the underworld than you might think. Marius... he's technically my grandfather."

Aurora's shock deepened, her mind reeling as she processed the revelation. "Your grandfather? But... how? What do you mean?"

Claude's voice was soft, his words measured as he explained. "Marius was the one who turned my father into a vampire, a long time ago. He's been a part of my family's history, and I've had my own interactions with him over the years."

Aurora's emotions swirled-a maelstrom of shock, betrayal, and anger. Her heart pounded in her chest, a mix of confusion and hurt clouding her thoughts. "And you never thought to tell me any of this? How could you keep something so significant from me?"

Claude's eyes reflected a mixture of regret and remorse, his voice laced with sincerity. "Aurora, I didn't know how to bring it up. It's complicated, and I didn't want it to define who I am or our relationship. I... I care about you, and I didn't want this to change how you see me."

Aurora's anger was palpable, her voice edged with a mixture of frustration and hurt. "So, what else are you hiding, Claude? How much more do you know about my enemies, about my past?"

Claude took a step closer, his eyes pleading as he reached out to gently touch Aurora's hand. "Aurora, I'm not hiding anything else from you. I understand your anger and your sense of betrayal, but please believe me when I say that my intentions have always been genuine."

Aurora's conflicting emotions warred within her-anger, hurt, and a vulnerability she was reluctant to admit. She pulled her hand away, her gaze avoiding Claude's as she struggled to contain the storm of emotions swirling inside her.

"I need time to process all of this, Claude," Aurora finally murmured, her voice a mix of sadness and uncertainty. "I need to figure out what this means for me, for my mission."

Claude nodded, his expression a mixture of understanding and regret. "I understand, Aurora. Take all the time you need. I just hope that you can find it in your heart to forgive me."

As Aurora turned away, her heart heavy with the weight of the revelations, she couldn't deny the conflict within her-the anger and betrayal warring with the undeniable connection she felt for Claude. Amidst the tumultuous emotions, one thing was certain: their journey had taken an unexpected turn, one that would test the limits of trust and redefine the path they had chosen to follow.

Aurora's heart pounded in her chest as she ran through the dimly lit streets, her emotions in turmoil. The revelation about Claude's connection to Marius had shaken her to her core, and the ache of betrayal gnawed at her. She had trusted him, allowed herself to feel something genuine, only to have her world upended by the truth she hadn't seen coming.
