Juliette Wanner was in love. She was in love and she couldn't escape it. It was the soul crushing kind of love. The love you would do anything for. The love that made you question so many things, including yourself.
Elijah Mikaelson was her first love. Her one and only love. That's what made it so hard. She had never felt this way for anyone before. It was eating at her. It was devouring her. Even still, she welcomed it. She embraced the love she held for Elijah and never let it go.
The two had never met. In person that is, but they both knew nearly everything about each other. Elijah would visit constantly since he found her. Always listening to what she says, always admiring her presence, always smiling. He had loved her sure, but how could he love a girl he had never met?
The man never knew he had a soulmate, he didn't believe such things were real, but when his mother told him of such a thing when he turned into the vampire he is today, he made it his mission to find the girl who was made for him. Lead after lead after lead he finally found her. And he was damned if he ever let her go.
Juliette wasn't sure what to think at first. Why suddenly did this man appear in her dreams? Why suddenly was this man she had never seen before peak her interest and heart? It wasn't a thing she was accustomed to at first but as the weeks went on she began to fall for him.
He was beautiful. He carried himself with grace and dignity. Elijah was caring and thoughtful, giving advice on what to do in a situation. Juliette payed attention to every detail about him, from his face to his body. She knew him. She loved him.
Even still, all good things must come to an end, don't they?
