Hey guys... I hope you enjoy the book and sorry if it is not what you expected, it is my first book. If you have any suggestions, I will try to incorporate them into my story.
We are both sitting in this room. He is staring so intently into my eyes. I froze. I couldn't move. He started to lean in, he was so close that our faces were just inches, even centimeters, apart. Just before he was about to kiss me, he vanished and my sister appeared telling me it was time to get up for school. I lay there, stunned because I believed my dream was reality. In a matter of seconds, some random guy had turned into my sister. The thought sent a shiver through my body. I don't want to leave the comfort of my blanket, but I finally stepped off my bed taking the comforter with me. I made my way down stairs and towards the kitchen. When I was the bottom of the steps, I was instantly hit by the smell of bacon and coffee. As I walk in the kitchen and grab a seat at the bar across from my mom, who was at the stove cooking breakfast. While I was sitting there, mom said," Good morning honey. How'd you sleep last night?" I moaned a little and replied with," Fine, just a little restless." We spent the rest of breakfast in silence. I eat a bunch of bacon and drink like three cups of coffee, which will be the only thing that will allow me to correctly associate with people without getting the urge to kill them. After breakfast, I walk back up stairs, throw my comforter on the bed, grab some clothes, and hop in the shower. 10 minutes later, I'm wearing my favorite skinnies, black long sleeve, and black vans, and I attempt to tame my hair. When I finally tame my hair, I put on a light layer of foundation. After my make-up was done, I grab my bag, head down stairs, and out the front door to wait for Bailey, my 11th grade friend who gives me rides to school. When she got here, I hop in and we go to school. Bailey, wearing a mid-thigh length sun dress that was baby blue and had flip-flops on it. She was wearing tan 5" wedges and her shoulder length dirty blonde hair was pulled back in a tight pony tail. We carry on a small conversation until we were about to turn into the school parking lot. "So you're saying you had every class with him." I say. " Yeah, it really stunk because he is so annoying." And then I saw him, the guy, the mysterious guy from my dream. He was there, leaning up against the wall next to the side entrance of the school. "Hello? You there. Lindsey!?" "Yeah, Sorry Bailey, but um... who is that standing over there." I whisper to Bailey while pointing at him. " I guess he's new because I have never seen him before. But I heard that he moved here this summer and is in the 10th grade." We get out of the car and start to head towards the door when I hear someone say in a deep, husky voice," Hello."
