It had been ten years, Calem was about seventeen years old with a dark blue lightsaber. His Master and the famed KenobiSkywalker team were out on a mission to rescue Chansellor Palpatine. He was instructed to stay behind at the temple. He and some of the other Padawans were training alongside Master Yoda, but he was slower and unfocused." Padawan Calem, sense something wrong, I do. What is it?" Yoda asked.
" Sigh, I know Jedi aren't supposed to fear, but I'm just afraid of what might happen while my Master is out there. I mean, he's rescuing the Chansellor from Dooku, when Greivous could be lurking around!" Calem yelled," Not to mention the countless droids crawling all over the ship!"
" Worry, you must not. For strong enough, they are together." Yoda reasured," Coming back soon, they will be."
" May I go to our quarters? I have a feeling that something bad will happen soon...I would just like to prepare for it." He explained.
Yoda nodded yes, and Calem rushed off to their quarters.
" Okay, I'll need some extra clothes packed...maybe a filled water canister... And...and our group photo for memories...I miss Ahsoka..." Calem said to himself.
His Master, Obi-Wan and Anakin had came back only fifteen minutes ago, but Obi-Wan had important business, His Master and Anakin was counciling with the Chansellor. Calem pulled his pack over his shoulders and latched his lightsaber onto his belt." I just hope what I sense dosen't come true..." he said, walking the door.
As he was rounding a corner, Calem roughly made out the words," The Chansellor is the Sith Lord!"
It was Anakin! 'How could he have found out something like that? And to be honest, a Sith wouldn't give anything away without a purpose...WAIT! What if the Chansellor planned to turn Anakin over to the Dark side of the Force?! Surely he wouldn't be able to, Anakin's strong enough to resist it!' Calem thought, walking as if he heard nothing.
Then he saw that Anakin had been talking to Master Windu. And Mace didn't take his time in going down to the Chansellor's office. Then, Anakin soon followed." No... He couldn't be wanting to protect the Chansellor...would he...?" He asked himself.
He continued walking when he heard screams. The younglings of the temple! He quickly dove into an empty apartment of the halls, turned the lights off, and watched as Anakin and Charter strode through the halls, murduring any Jedi in sight. It was then that he heard three words ring through his head," Execute Order Sixty-Six."
" No..." He whispered," My vision is coming true... This can't be..."
" Who's there?!" Anakin called out.
He walked to the room that was only occupied by a frightened Calem, but saw nothing. He then walked out and continued to slaughter the young soon-to-be Jedi. Soon enough, it was over, and they left. About ten, maybe fifteen minutes later, Obi-Wan landed with Yoda. Calem opened the door to the apartment slowly, causing alarm to the two." Wait, it's me Master Obi-Wan!" He exclaimed, stepping out.
" Calem, did you see who did all of this?" Obi-Wan asked.
" It...It was..." he began.
" Find out later, we will. But send out signal, we now must." Yoda said.
The three made their way to the transmition room, and Obi-Wan sent out the signal," This is Obi-Wan Kenobi, Republic forces have been turned against the Jedi, avoid Coruscant, avoid detection, stay strong, may the Force be with you."
As Obi-Wan boarded a star fighter destined for Mustafar with Padmè, C3-P0 and R2-D2, Calem made an atempt to board with them." Stay here you must, for danger, I sense." Yoda said.
" Yes Master Yoda..." Calem reluctantly replied.
It was ages before Obi-Wan returned, and Padmè was immediantly rushed to the Healer's Wing.
It wasn't long after that Obi-Wan exited with two children, one boy named Luke, and one girl named Leia. Obi-Wan and Yoda went there own paths, as well as the children having their own seperat paths. Calem was left to grow up on his own. Without the training of a Master. He went into the library to pack useful Holochrons into his bag, and left to use the only starfighter left. He set corse for the farthest planet he could think of at the time, a planet called Lothal.
