The annoying sound of my ringtone, wafted through the room, I tried to ignore it, but the person didn't give up.

Groaning, I rolled over in bed, and snatched my phone from the night stand, I stared at the Caller ID,

'Mr Reynolds', literally the only person that still calls me.

"Good morning, sir," I muttered in the speaker,

"It's Twelve in the afternoon, don't tell me you're still in bed?!," he sounded a bit edgy.

'shit I slept through my alarm' I cursed mentally. "Oh no sir, I was just about to give you a ring,'' he hummed in an unamused manner, "You have an appointment scheduled with Mr Ferrari at 2pm sharp, so please I'm literally begging you, Get your shit together."

I reluctantly rolled out of bed at the sternness in his voice, "yes, boss,"

"A driver, will be coming to pick you up by 1:30 stat," "mhmm" I hummed,
"so I'll give you a ring then," before I could say anything, he hung up.

I tossed my phone on the bed, and went into the bathroom to freshen up, that didn't take as long as I had expected.

I picked out an Orange oversized Vintage button up v-neck shirt, with a pair of brown high waisted courdroy pants and on my feet were black cool chained loafers.

A/N: Do you know those loafers that are like platforms, like big, shiny, and pretty, that's the image.

My hair was pulled back in a simple ponytail, a little lip gloss, not too much of everything.

My phone buzzed from where it lay on the bed, picking it up and checking out the text from Mr Reynolds which said the car was outside a black sedan, how classy, anyways I picked up my white purse stuffing my phone in it and other necessities.

It didn't take long for me to find the car as soon as I got outside the hotel.

The building was large and made of glass, but not the transparent kind, slightly tinted blue.

I bid the driver goodbye, and made my way towards the building, the inside was even better than the outside.

The Receptionists desk was at corner of the lobby, I went over to her.

"Good morning.... Ju-Juanita," I said as I read her name from the placard in front of her.

She glanced up at me, sending me a pleasant smile, "Greetings to you too! Do you have an appointment here?"

I nodded slowly, "Yes, I was scheduled to see your boss this afternoon,"

Situating her glasses on her eyes properly, "What's your name?" She scrolled through her Computer opening a folder.

"Macquoid Xenia,"

"All I see here is a Macquoid Isla?"

I chuckled awkwardly, "Oh I'm really sorry, I forget that's my name at times,"

She sent me a cross look, before saying "Are you sure that's your name?"

Honestly, I don't remember, I thought to myself, "Yes, I am a Macquoid, and my name is Isla."

She typed something in her computer, "You're weird and your appointment is in 10 minutes, after his mid afternoon meeting, so you're free to wait in the lounge,"
