"Excuse me, I think there's a mistake." Price frowned.

Shit, did I over charge them for something?

"Oh, I'm sorry, what seems to be the problem?"

"My meal and beer aren't on here."

"Oh, I comped it."

"What, why?"

"As a thank you."

"Oh, please, no! Charge me for it!" Price tried to hand back the card but I stepped away.

"No can do. Check is closed."

"Alright." He smiled.

I smiled, wished them a goodnight and then left.

I hope they leave a nice tip.

A 20 would be nice.

After a while, I returned.

They were gone and I found a 20 folded up.

"Oh, nice!"

I picked it up and gasped.

They left 5 20's.

They left me 100 dollars!?

No way!

I looked around for them but couldn't find them.

Insane!

I pocketed the money and after all my tables were taken care of, I went to the back to put on a hoodie and sweats.

"Today was a long day." Moon sighed.

I nodded, changed my heels in to shoes and pulled out all the hair pins.

I put my hair into a messy bun and massaged my aching scalp and head.

"Alright, I'll see you tomorrow, moon! Bye!" I grabbed my bag of clothes and tips before exiting the back door. It was cold and dark. The faint sound of music pumping and distant cheers were all I heard.

I held my bag close to my body and my car beeped as I opened the trunk.

I stuffed my bag in and turned around.

"Hello."

"AHHHHHH!"

I fell into my trunk and Price jumped back.

"Are you okay!?"

"What the fuck are you doing!?"

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you! There was just a man following you so I wanted to make sure you got to your car okay!"

"What?" I looked around and saw a man stand up from behind the bushes and walk away.

"Here... let me help you out." Price held out a hand for me to take.

"How do I know you're not trying to trick me?"

"You don't. And I'm very sorry I scared you. I'm just trying to help. Please. Let me help you."

I side eyed him before slowly taking his hand.

He pulled me out of the trunk. I closed it and held my keys in case I had to use them in self defense.

"See? Safe." Price smiled.

I nodded and glanced down at our hands still holding on to each other.

I let go and took a step back.

"Well... thank you."

"I feel I need to make it up to you. How about I buy you dinner? You probably haven't eaten yet."

Going somewhere with someone you met at a strip club?

Not a good idea.

"I'm okay."

"Come on. I promise. No funny business."

"I'm not really hungry." I said just as my stomach growled loudly.

God damn it.

Price smiled at me.

I looked to the side and saw a car full of his friends, all with the windows down and watching.

Nosy.
