Chapter 4

"Commander Nichola all precautions have been put in place and the prisoner has been successfully transferred to his cell. Alexander Digory is under our watch." A soldier reports. "Thank you soldier Reynolds, I will report it to HQ."

Commander Nichola says.
Commander Nichola walks her way to the elevator she gets in and goes to the HQ floor. The boss office is all the way down the hall, she walks and finally arrives at his office. "Captain, can I come in?" Commander Nichola asks. "Come in Judy." The Captain says.

Judy walks into the room filled with weapons and awards and portraits of himself, and one picture of a young woman on the wall behind his desk above a large sword.

The woman looks to be in her 30s. She has a pretty face, blue eyes and blonde hair. "Everything is under control now Sir. I'm so sorry and everyone on the team is sorry too.

We should have never let the convict escape. We will all do better." Judy states.
"Good you should be sorry, if something like this happens again there will be major consequences." The Captain states.
"The convict is now in his cell and we will keep an extra close eye on him. And we will start the interrogation process over again as soon as we can, Sir." Judy states.

"Good, I know you and the rest of your team are interested in the new convicts story and you say he is apart of big conspiracy but I know he's especially dangerous because of the incident.

So I'm giving you and the team 2 weeks at the most and so you can squeeze every ounce of information you can and then you execute him." The Captain says coldly "But Sir he doesn't have enough on his record to war-" Judy tries to say.

"Execute him, understand."
The Captain says. "Sir we-" Judy again tries to say.

"Execute the convict after 2 weeks, understand." The Captain states with a blank and cold expression. "Okay sir".

Judy says with some pushback in her voice. "Now I do have something for you and the team, this will make up for your screwup. I want you to capture this. The mission shouldn't take that long 3 days at the max but it won't be an easy catch now go and work." The Captain says while sliding an envelope to Judy from across his desk. Judy says

"Have a good day Sir." She grabs the envelope walking out the room.
She walks back down the long hall way thinking to herself about how the Captain wants a human to be executed...
she thinks they in prison people not murder them, maybe he is right though he almost killed Morgan.
And how did he know about my dad?

My dad, why do I miss him? What is wrong with me? She reaches the elevator. I need to focus, this mission is gonna be different gotta be the commander. I need to check this file.

File Report: Many reports have come in about this creature. It kills many people in its area especially when they get close to a certain tree. The regular weapons won't work on this creature make sure to bring the most elite type of artillery. Suggested approach ambush it and use neutralizing weapons to stop whatever powers it may have or at the very least dampen it's powers.

Creature description: Giant Bird looks to be like an eagle. Reports say around 70 feet large. Estimated weight 50,000 lbs. Has large talons and a large beak, with extremely large wings.

Damn this is a class A creature we have to be really careful with this thing. We're gonna need the entire team for this mission. The elevator opens up. Judy walks out the elevator. "Jötun, Reyes, Lyu, and Cooper." Judy shouts "Yes boss?" Jötun asks. "We have a mission so everyone get geared up." Judy says.
Jötun grabs a rocket launcher two small shotguns and a battle axe that has been engraved with numerous symbols.
Reyes goes and grabs his sniper rifle and two handguns, a bandolier of grenades as well.
Cooper grabs a standard assault rifle but with special ammo embedded with magic.
"Lyu it is good to see you back here safe. How did your mission go?" Judy asks. "Mission was a good success Commander and its good to be home." He says with a smile. "Now get your gear Lyu we're waiting for you." Judy says.
"Yes ma'am!" Lyu still says smiling.
