chapter 13: teleportation devices

Ding dong! A doorbell rang as I woke up from my slumber. My body was weak and tired. I guess I slept late. I looked around me and all i see is scattered papers, strings and pins. I stood up from the chair and put the pencil I used last night and have been in my hands while I slept. I rubbed my eyes and yawned and went to the door to open it.

Seven: Good morning X!

Seven greeted with a smile As i smiled tiredly with a yawn which seven noticed

X: good.. Morning. What brings you.. Here?

I said that with a very tired and sleepy tone

Seven: well I'm here to check if you figured something out about that orb thing and also. Did you sleep???

X: hm? Nah I haven't figure something out. Yet! I'm almost there tho. Also not really. I slept late.

I yawned slowly while gesturing seven to come inside. I told seven to sit down on the chairs as I went to the kitchen to make coffee.

I came back with two cups on my hand and sat down next to seven and gave them the other cup. I grabbed a paper on the table with a pen and begin to write

X: how about you?have you figured something out?

Seven: not really but did you know time passed really fast here than the other worlds.! You know we were only there for half an hour? Nine said it has been 3 months!

That. Got X's interest. I wrote that on the paper and think for a second then something clicks in.

X: ah! I know now.

Seven: hah? What does that mean?

X: time passed fast here bcuz yk when that blue weird looking number said about uhm being in a different universe

Seven: blue..weird..looking...wha....?

X: I didn't really understand first but universe... The blue looking weird number said we weren't the only different aus they seen. So that means there's a lot of us!

Seven: what does that have to do with time

X: the orb uses time and energy to teleport us to the other world. So while we were teleporting. The orb absorbs the time and energy in our original world. So we can teleport. And the orb needs a lot of time and energy that's why time flies by so fast here

Seven: I don't understand. Or maybe your just bad at explaining.

X: raaaa. Gr. Whatever. Well at least I know an idea.  And the weird looking blue guy said that there's multiple portals and orb on their world so. If we go back. And look for the other worlds maybe I will figure out or! We can go on an adventure!

Seven: I don't understand but adventure sounds fun! I'm just gonna tell nine. Or else they will be worried.

X: ah alr. Gotta shower I just woke up.

Seven: Mhm sure. I'll be back. Gotta tell nine!

X: alr cya

Seven left and x went to go shower

After x and seven finished what they're doing. They went to the same bush that got them into this mess.

X: hm.

Seven: uh. Are we gonna go in? Or not?

X: well yeh ofc we are going in. Just a quick question. Did you tell nine about. The orb?
