Hunting on a hot sunny day will never be Prince Wasuthorn's cup of tea. It was one of his father's wish--for him to be prepared when he take over the throne.

Luckily, he's with childhood friend, Prince Chaikamon who is more than willing to accompany him because he's very outgoing and likes these kind of activities.

"We caught a big one already so can we go home? My legs are wobbly and I can't stand the heat."

"We're only here for two hours, 'Thorn. If you can't stand the heat, how can you face a huge crowd while doing a speech in a ceremony?"

"I'll find a shade."

"Jesus, 'Thorn you clever..."

"Clever good looking Prince I know. I'll alert our guards so they can ready our horses."

Prince Chaikamon just sighed and shaked his head in disagreement with what his friend just said.

"Fine. I do have an appointment with the Duke of Tangwai later this afternoon."

"Oh, you mean the son of the Duke?" Prince Wasuthorn loves to tease until Prince Chaikamon's ears turns red.

"No." It was the only thing that Prince Chaikamon blurted.

"Oh, please Chaikamon. Once your ears turned red, you're lying."

"Shut up. You only want to go home because you're afraid someone might come running here just because I'm with you."

Prince Wasuthorn didn't know what to answer. Instead, he rolled his eyes and made his way to the waiting guards.

---

The scent of coconut and oils filled up the prince's room. His maids left him minutes ago with a warm bath and clothes ready.

Just when he was about to take his hunting clothes off, a loud knock interrupted him. He asked who it wass with an irritating tone.

"It's me, your highness."

After hearing that familiar deep voice, Prince Wasuthorn hurriedly ran to the door. But before opening, he tried to hide his excitement like a puppy wagging his tail when his master arrived home.

He slowly opened the door and peeked on the tiny opening he made but to his surprise, the person behind it swung it wide open.

"Well good day, Grand Commander Thitipong. What brings you here?" said the Prince with a sly smile.

The Grand Commander carefully closed and locked the door then faced the Prince with a stern look. The feeling of excitement turned to worry.

"I think you know why, your highness. Some stubborn person suddenly went missing in someone's bed just to go out and play hunt with another man." The Grand Commander said with his gaze still locked on the Prince.

"Oh my. I'm sorry to hear that Grand Commander but did you already found that stubborn person?"

"I did."

"Good. I'm sure the stubborn person you're talking about just want that other someone to rest more after a very tiring night."

"Well, can that stubborn person explain why he's with another Prince this morning after having a very tiring night also?"

The Grand Commander crossed his arms while waiting for the Prince's answer.

Prince Wasuthorn grunted. He closed their distance and placed his hands on the Grand Commander's arms.

"It was father's doing okay? I know you know that. Him getting me prepared before passing me the throne. And as for the Prince of Sermsongwittaya, he's a childhood friend. He's seeing the son of the Duke of Tangwai. There, I explained myself already." He grabbed both the Grand Commander's hands and placed it on his cheeks. The hands cupping his cheeks were warm and big. "Am I forgiven?"
