Chapter 3

Startled by his sudden outburst, I fell on my bum. "What?" I asked very confused.

"Yes," the man said, jumping up," I tired to stop you from coming through the door; but, you didn't listen to me. You looked like you were in some sort of trance."

The man kept on rambling, while I sat there staring at him curiously.

I spaced out for a bit, wondering about who this man is.

"Hello! What's your name?"
Asked the man.
"Astrid" I answered.
"Brilliant!" Exclaimed the man. "Like a name from a fairytale!"

"It looks like we are in one." I said, looking around. "Don't be ridiculous! Well, maybe we are in one. We happened to through a door that lead us here; so, maybe we have traveled through dimensions of some sort. I could be wrong. We have no idea were we are, so the possibilities are endless," the man kept on rambling again, "I had enough of your rambling mister!" and i asked him, "What's your name?"

He was a bit startled by the sound of my voice, since he was in deep thought.

"Oh, dear! How rude of me. I asked for your name and I never gave you mine. I'm the doctor!"

"Doctor who?"
"Nope, just the Doctor!"
"Alright" I said, a little confused but decided to drop it.

"Well, since we're stuck here for the time being, might as well look around," with that the Doctor was off.

I ran to catch up with him. "Wait, can you help me find my dog?" I asked. "Sure, what's does your dog look like?" Said the Doctor. "He was a golden-orange husky but when we came here he changed to a weird creature that's purple with a big smile and tail," I said. "Well, that won't be so hard to find. Everything here is a weird creature. I bet it will be easier than finding a hay in the needle stack." replied the Doctor.

As we walked, we saw all different types of creatures and plants, while still on the look out for my dog... well, creature.

The Doctor pulled out a weird looking, screwdriver, that was exactly like my key. He started waving it around the plants and creatures.

"What Is that?" I asked, quite confused to what it is. "It's a sonic screwdriver." Answered the Doctor.

"What does it do?" ''Well... it screws things... sonically. On a good day, we fight off monsters with it."

"Monsters?" If the device didn't confuse me, now I'm more confused. "Yep," said the Doctor, still waving the screwdriver around,"all different types of monsters, some even look like a potato." I giggled at that.

"It looks just like mine!"
I pulled it out of my pocket and the doctor snatched it up.
"Where did you find that?!?" He snapped at me.

"I-" was all I was able to say before I fell down what looks to be a hole.
