After dinner Isabella approaches Blake "We need to talk."
"You wanna talk?" He asks giving her a skeptical look and she nods.
"We need to talk about what happened between us."
"Finally," the words roll off his tongue, "Midnight at our usual spot." He adds teleporting away.
Her friends approach her just then,"You're doing it?" Jasmine asks.
"Yeah, I guess I am," Isabella sighs, "I'm scared Jaz, I'm nervous and I—"
Jasmine cuts her off "It's okay to be scared, I get it but don't forget the both of you need this, the both of you need this closure."
"Then what happens after that?" Isabella asks her best friend.
"Only you and him can decide that." Jasmine lets out.
Isabella groans "I need a drink, why is this love stuff so complicated."
"That's why you didn't wanna come right?" Elijah asks.
"Yep more than anything." Isabella agrees. "What's the time?"
"8 pm." Elena says.
"4 hours to go," Isabella adds "I'm going to read, I'll be in the library guys." She informs them teleporting away.
4 hours later.
Isabella teleports to the garden where she finds Blake laying on the grass, gazing upon the stars, with his hands behind his head.
"Hey." She lets out in a small whisper.
He turns to her then smiles and gets up, "Hi,"
"Thanks for coming." Isabella says.
"For you, anything." He says standing in front of her.
"I need to tell you something and I know you might get upset and mad at me," she starts and he blankly stares at her, "I lied," she stares straight into his violet eyes that are turning darker "I lied when I told you that we couldn't work out because you were the dark Lord and I'm a guardian, I lied when I said that I wasn't a serious relationship kinda person, before I met you yes I wasn't, but when I was with you no."
He puts both his hand on either side of her shoulders staring straight into her glossy hazel eyes, "Then what's the truth Isa?" He lowly says narrowing his eyes at her.
"The truth is.... I left you because I wanted to protect you, I wanted to keep you safe from your enemies from everyone that wanted to harm you," she sighs "I was becoming your weakness, the reason people could exploit you, the reason people would use against you, I was something that would ruin you, so I lied, I broke your heart so that you'd let me go, I lied, then I ran away, because I just couldn't bare to see you hurt." She relates tears falling from her eyes.
He feels a pain in his chest, like someone's stabbed him profusely, seeing her cry shatters his heart, he reaches for her face and wipes her tears away, he leans closer lightly pecking her eyes, "Don't cry my little tigress, I'm not mad at you, moreover you're an idiot, for running away," He clarifies, "Yes you were and are my weakness but also my strength, you made me and still make me stronger, I know, I would give up everything for you but no one can use you against me because you're smart, you're my tigress who's tough and doesn't need a prince charming to save her, you're no damsel in distress, you're a fighter, a warrior, very cunning, so you'd always find a way to get away from terrible situations. You give me my strength, you are my only strength and without you, I'm weak that's how it is, when you're closer I'm stronger, stronger than ever and I literally mean it my little tigress." He concludes.
