You didn't bother hanging out with anyone.

Whether it was Yuuki, Satoru, or even your brother. The girls always brought you with them instead.

It wasn't like them to act this way around you, but they really seemed like they wanted to be friends with you.

However...They still didn't quite include you in their group, so you were still outcasted on occasion.

Kenya really did try his best to check up on you, he was your brother after all.

But the day came where the girls flocked towards you.

"(Y/N)!" They call out, running towards you, "We had this awesome idea..."

You hated how much you wanted to go through with it, you didn't like the feelings you held against Kayo. But before you even had a second thought, you spoke, "I'll do it."

----------------------------------------------------------------

Everyone had brought their lunch money, Kayo and Satoru were in charge of it. The envelops were now put into his desk, the two grabbing supplies to clean the room as of this moment. You quickly ran into the room once they left, shoving them all into Kayo's bag.

You heard their voices from the hallway, now making it seem like you were packing up your bag to leave.

The two stop their conversation and now turn their focus towards you, "Huh? (Y/N), what are you still doing here?"

Quick, you need an excuse!

"If they catch you, tell them that you wanted to help clean off the desks real quick." Misato whispered in your ear.

"I wanted to help you two out a bit, my desk still had a bunch of pencil shavings so I cleaned it up..." You explain.

"O-oh, well thanks. You didn't have to do that-" Satoru mumbles.

"It's fine, I wanted to."

You step out of the room.

I've been so focused on Kayo that I haven't even been checking up on her, I really need to work on that...

...

Kids were getting their lunches now, Satoru frantically searching inside his desk for the lunch money.

He stands up, "Mr. Yashiro?" He asks, catching the attention of everyone, "It's about the lunch money, I can't find it." A chorus of confused students echoes throughout the room.

Misato now stands up as well, "Sir, I think I know what happened. Someone must have stolen it." She now turns towards someone, "And I have a feeling that person is Kayo."

"What? How do you know she did?" Satoru asks, quick to defend her.

"Who else could it be?" She questions rhetorically, "I mean, she doesn't have to pay for her lunches like we do. It somewhat figures the thief would be someone who's poor."

"Good point!"

"Did you take it, Kayo?"

Students in class murmured about this, Satoru now sending an angry look her way.

"The best way to find out who stole it is to check everyone's bags." She adds.

Another one of the girls adds in, "She's right teach!"

One by one, students now checked their bags for the money, along with each others because of what Misato told them.

"Hurry! Find that thief!"

Satoru face falls even harder, glare growing at her.

"Found it." Kayo blankly says, now holding them in her hand.

"It was Kayo!"

"The poor girl did it!"

"I told you she took it! Kayo's a thief and should be expelled." Misato points out.

That seems to be the last straw for Satoru.

He punches his desk, "Shut up! It doesn't matter if she's poor or hungry! Kayo would never steal from anyone!"

The class now remains silent, now looking at him.

She starts hiccupping as she tries to hold back tears.

"You know, anyone could have taken the cash from Satoru's desk and planted it in Kayo's bag." Your brother says.

Before anything could go further, you stand up and bow.

"It was me, I put the money in Kayo's bag." You admit.

The class now starts berating you, your brothers friends sending you confused looks while your brother only sends a glance your way.

"Don't get mad at Misato for calling Kayo out, it was my fault because I thought it would be a harmless joke." You say, trying to excuse yourself.

You didn't even want to know the real reason you agreed to it, you didn't know why your body told you to do it.

Mr. Yashiro now claims everyone's attention by clapping his hands together, "Thank you for admitting it (Y/N), though I'm afraid I'm going to have to talk to you after class."

Everyone starts 'oohing' and the sound of you being in trouble, the girl who never got on anyone's bad side.

"Ok, everyone. Back to lunch."

No one spares a second of hesitation before starting to chow down on their food.

...

You had stayed behind in class, surprisingly he let you off with a warning due to this never happening before, but when you walked back to the class to grab your stuff, Satoru had now asked Kayo to go up to the mountain you two would spend the winter on doing activities together, taking her up to see the crystal tree you two found together.

I guess there's no chance for me now, what's the point of staying here any longer?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

You should have walked home with someone.

Something or someone was following you, and it wouldn't give up no matter how many different turns you made, and before you could even try to race off, they quickly caught up to you.

Something now covered your mouth, it had a slightly sweet smell, but before you could focus on it, everything went black.

...

Your limp body was now being carried, a hoodie covering over him as his boots made imprints in the snow, but new snow was falling down, they wouldn't be there by morning.

A weight had been attached to your ankle before you were carelessly thrown in the water.

No struggle was shown.

That was the second death of (Y/N) Kobayashi.
