When you arrived at the meeting place you started looking for Akaashi, the both of you agreed to meet there so you can go to the party Bokuto invited you together. Although you didn't really want to go since there wouldn't be many people you knew, the young man with black and white hair always knew how to convince you, or rather you had never been able to say no.
The former Fukurodani star was a weakness for you ever since you two first interacted, at the camp Karasuno's team had been invited to in your second year of high school, as one of the team's managers you attended with them meeting him there. Fukurodani's captain, Bokuto Koutaro.
Since you started university in Tokyo and you were forced to move, daily messages with him became constant outings or visits, he was excited to show you various places he enjoyed going or simply go to your apartment to do a movie marathon, so over time he became one of the most important people in your life and although you did not have a formal relationship or anything like that, it was easy for the rest of the world to notice your chemistry so there was no doubt for anyone that you both had strong feelings for each other.
Your eyes met Akaashi's black hair that seemed to be trying to find you just like you had been doing, you went to him immediately and when you arrived you gave him a smile as a greeting to which he responded by also smiling calmly. He told Bokuto that you were both on the way, and then you quietly made your way to the party place.
You knew that all the guests would meet at the house of one of the former members of the Fukurodani, someone from Bokuto's generation, although you did not know exactly who he was or where the exact place was, luckily Akaashi lived near you and had agreed to guide you. After all it wasn't a problem for him, you always got along, you may not have talked much to each other but since you were the two most important people for the yellow-eyed man it was impossible that you didn't end up relating to each other after all. Both always support each other on what he respects, it helps a lot to have someone who also knows how to deal with Bokuto.
"Bokuto-san said you weren't sure about coming, I hope he didn't force you" Akaashi mentioned breaking the silence. You laughed at the assumption, sometimes you were amazed at how much he could get to know Bokuto, it seemed like he really knew him like the back of his hand, even better than you thought you knew him.
"He didn't force me Akaashi, don't need to worry" you assured. And it is that if something was clear to you, it is that he would not be able to force you into anything, he did not have the slightest intention of doing anything that could hurt you. He knew how to convince you when you had doubts but when he heard a resounding no he would never have a single objection, Bokuto knew very well the fine line of when it was okay to insist and when not.
