A few weeks have passed since Adria and I went shopping. Tomorrow is prom and I'm really excited. I wrote to the group at 4 p.m. if we wanted to do something together.
Aurora is going to visit our sister and mother today. They're doing a girls night.
Nate and Adriana agreed.
Julie also agreed, which really surprised me. But Julie actually has a pure heart and only wants the best for me despite the separation and how I threw the relationship away. We were together for almost 3 years.
Adriana offered that we all go to her. Her house or rather her villa is huge and her parents are at a red carpet in another city, which is why they won't come and she's home alone.
We wanted to meet at her place at 5 p.m. but out of I excitement went to Adriana's earlier. Maybe also because I want to be alone with her.
„Hey Adonis" She greeted me after she opened the door for me.
„Hey Adria" we hugged
„You look great" i said
„Thank you But I'm only in sweatpants and hoodie. I didn't even have time to get ready"
„You don't need to get ready, you always look good"
„Thank you" she said but she looked so sad
„Whats wrong?" i asked
She looked at me and quickly looked away again.
„Nothing"
„Adriana why are you sad?"
„Do you mean it?"
„About the way you look? Yes, of course! You look stunning Adriana and you need to know that you dont need anything to be that beautiful. If it's because of Nate and he's done something again, I'll kill him!"
She didnt say anything. She stared at the wall.
„What did he say?" i asked
„Straighten your hair, curls are far too noticeable. Dress differently, you look like a man. Do Make up, with your outfit,so you can tell who the guy is." She still said immersed in her thoughts
„I kill him"
„No please Adonis you dont say a word about this"
„How am I not supposed to say anything about it. Adriana, you are my friend and I won't let him treat you like that"
„Please Adonis No! PLEASE" Her eyes filled with tears she looked at me
I took her in my arms. What am I supposed to do? She sits here in tears and asks me not to do anything while he treats her like garbage.
„Does he know about prom?"
„No"
„Why"
„He will get mad"

We talked for another 15 minutes until the bell rang. We went to open the door and there stood Nate. He greeted me and gave Adriana a kiss. I would lie if I said it didn't hurt to look at it. We sat down in the living room and talked. After that, Adriana received a message.
„Its Julie. She needs someone to pick her up. You two stay here im going" she said
„You sure?" i said worried because its getting late
Nate on the other hand was texting on his phone
„Yeah i will be back in some minutes"
And with that she left me with him.
He got up and walked to the guest toilet but left his phone on the couch.
Suddenly he got a message on his cell phone and although I didn't want to look, I had to do it and I was shocked.
Barbara „hey Nate i miss you so much. When do you come over? I want you now, i need you!"
At that moment Nate came back and saw my shocked look on his cell phone.
„WTF dude why are you on my phone!"
„WHY IS BARBARA TEXTING YOU AND WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?"
„NOT YOU BUSINESS"
„OF COURSE IT'S MY BUSINESS, I SWEAR TO YOU WHEN ADRIANA IS BACK, SHE WILL SEE THAT"
„DON'T PLAY GAMES WITH ME ADONIS. OR DO YOU WANT HER TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR BET. AND THE REASON WHY JULIE BROKE UP. YOU KNOW SHE HAS A SOFT FRAGILE HEART AND SHE LOVES JULIE"
I couldn't get a word out. Nate took his things, went out and drove home. I put on my shoes and then Adriana came back with Julie.
„Hey where are you going Adonis are you okay?"
„Yeah im fine."
„Where is Nate?"
„He didnt feel well"
„But where are you going?" she asked
She looked so worried. She looked at Julie and signaled her to go to the living room
„I need to pick up Aurora, everything is good Adria, now go back and you two have fun"
„Are you sure everything is good"
„Yeah everything is great" i smiled at her
„Okay then. Take care of yourself and Aurora and drive carefully"
She is so Sweet. We hugged and after that we looked at each other.
„Okay dont let her wait." She said and interrupted theeye contact.
She went briefly on the tips of her toes and gave me a little kiss on the cheek.
Shocked but also overjoyed, I said goodbye and left. I could hardly believe it Adriana just kissed me
