The truth

Adriana

I woke up. My alarm clock rang continuously. I turned off my alarm and got up.

It was 6 o'clock in the morning. I walked into the bathroom of our hotel room and got ready for the return flight.

After 20 minutes I came out again and was done. I hadn't done much. I just styled my curls and did my skin care. I changed into something comfortable for the flight and that's it.

„Adonis wake up" I said calmly as I put my hand on his bare back

„Hermosa whats wrong?"

„Im sorry to wake you up but you need to get ready now for the flight"

He sat upright on the edge of the bed and rubbed his eyes. I stood in front of him and looked at him, he looked so cute.

Suddenly he pulled me to him by my hip and gave me a hug. Since he was sitting, his head touched my stomach and so I played with his hair. Because if he stands, I have no chance, he's too tall.

He also came out of the bathroom after 20 minutes and we could go down to the reception with our suitcases to check out. We took the taxi to the airport and after 2 hours we sat on the plane and I felt my eyes getting heavier and some minutes later i fall asleep on his shoulder.

Time Skip

Elena and Aurora picked us up after we landed.

„what was your highlight in Paris?" Elena asked

„To be honest that i could spend some time alone with Adria" Adonis said

„Well my highlight was the Psg game we watched"

„Omg Adria HAHAHHAHA" Aurora laughed at my answer

„I thought you would say something sweet" Adonis said offended

„That poor girl was with you this whole time im really sorry for her" Elena said

Aurora and me couldnt help but laugh

„Shut up Elena" Adonis said

I was back home, my suitcase already unpacked. I layed on my bed and stared at the ceiling. It was so quiet at home.

My parents were at work. I was alone. I thought about the message I got and my curiosity grew bigger and bigger, which is why I finally made my way 15 minutes before the meeting. There was a bank at the meeting point and I sat down.

Although I was so curious, I was also afraid of what was coming.

Then i saw a figure. It was a Boy my age. It was to dark to see his face and him wearing a hoodie made it even harder.

„Adriana"

I didn't even have to turn to him to know who was standing there. I will always recognize the voice. It burned in me. I noticed how I got hot and my aggressions were growing.

„What do you want Nate?"

„I need to talk to you"

„And why is that?"

„Its about Adonis"

„Save it Nate. You're really embarrassing. It probably didn't work out that way with Barbara and now you want to ruin my relationship, don't you?"

„Relationship? Oh God"

„Yes relationship is there a problem?"

„Yes if he wont tell you i will"

„Tell me what?"

„He isnt that guy you think he is"

„And that's what you say, Nate. Should I remind you of prom again?"

„Listen i can leave you know and you will never know the truth. Im here not because of my will. My new girlfriend told me to do it because apparently you deserve to know it"

„What are you talking about Nate"

I was afraid of every word he said. Fear that I will learn something that breaks my heart. And my fear was finally justified.

„Adriana you can believe me or you can go home right away and pretend that the conversation never happened but the idea of taking advantage of you never came from me. The idea came solely from Adonis and I'm not a loser. Adonis came up with the idea with a bet. Whoever gets you first has won and the winner has a free wish. But now when Adonis realized that it was going really fast between us, he suddenly got angry and so our friendship ended. I'm sorry, but you were our bet from the beginning"

„Please don't do this to me. Tell me that this is a lie Nate please"

My heart stopped a beat and you might think that it has fallen into a thousand parts. I sat here next to me my ex who tells me that I was just the bet between him and my boyfriend. I thought he really loved me, but it was all a lie. Tears formed in my eyes and flowed down my cheeks. I felt sick and my sight became more and more blurred.

„Im sorry Adriana"

„I need to go"

„Let me drive you home. Even though you think I'm a monster, I still want a person to come home safely."

I hesitated, but what else should I lose now. I got into his car and was silent. The lights of his car illuminated my house. And I saw a person standing in front of my door. Nate looked at me but I didn't know who it was either. Nate parked and got out with me to see who was standing there. It was Adonis. I did got sick right away and I thought I would still puke on the spot. Tears flowed down my cheeks.

„ADRIANA OMG. Why are you crying what happened. NATE? What did he do to you"

„Sé silencioso Adonis." Nate said

„What. Adriana what is wrong?" He came closer and was about to touch me when nate spoke again

„Dont even try Adonis. I told her. Everything."

Adonis looked like he saw a ghost

„So its true Adonis?" i asked

„Adriana listen i can explain!"

„Hijo de perro. I trusted you" and with that i slapped him across the face and left.
